For families who have suffered or are suffering the devastating loss of a newborn, I sew these Angel Gowns from donated wedding gowns. All is done by donation.

Thank you for your interest in donating your dress to be made into Angel Gowns. From time to time I have to close the donation window as I have a full time job and I make these Angel Gowns when I have time. I am by myself in the sewing so it catches up with me pretty quickly. The gowns are donated to local hospital in North Carolina. I do have requests from the donors to get the gowns back after they have been completed. I request that you pay for the return postage to get them back. I do not charge anything to make the Angel gowns. Any mileage, thread, trim, lace, etc. comes out of my pocket. It all adds up so I try to do the best I can and keep the costs at a minimum. Every bit of the dress that I can use is used. When you contact me to donate your gown, there is a form I send out for you to fill out. It helps me to keep track of all the gowns and special requests. Thank you again and God Bless. Becky Pool

I have not posted in a while due to some challenges in life. I am hoping to get back to designing and sewing more gowns in the coming months since I have reorganized and set my sewing room to rights.

As soon as I get back into a gown I will pay it and get going again.

I currently have 14-16 gowns waiting for my sewing machine! I will be making a trip to the local NICUs to drop off what I do have.

Got a question for y'all!!

I am looking at making some of these out of the scraps that are left over from the angel gowns. They are memorial ornaments for whatever you want.

I am looking to sell them to help compensate for expenses of making the gowns.

Would this be something you would be interested in buying? I have been asked to create a shop on Etsy for it, but I have hesitant to do that.

Memorial ornament made from scraps from donated wedding gowns. The gowns are turned into Angel gowns and this is the scraps left over!!

The Angel gowns are made completely free of charge and donated to local Hospitals. Trying to think of a way to raise some funds to help cover costs of embellishments and transportation to get the gowns ready and donate them. Should I sell these to help raise the funds that way?

Good Morning!!!! I will be starting up the making of the gowns again in the next week or so. I took some time over the holidays to unplug and recharge.

As I get through with each wedding gown I will be posted pictures and thanking the donors.

If you would like to add to the posts about your wedding gown, funny stories about your wedding day, history attached to the gown, etc., make sure to add that to the form you submit with the gown. It will be added when the pics go up.
