November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month, so let’s clear the air on a big one, stat.

❌ Myth: “Only smokers get lung cancer.”
✔ Fact: This is absolutely not true. While smoking is the biggest risk factor, anyone can get lung cancer. In fact, 10-20% of cases happen in people who have never smoked.

This disease doesn’t check your habits. That’s why research for better treatments and earlier detection is for everyone.

Our team is committed to finding better ways to fight this. Learn more about our enrolling lung health studies. ⬇️

It’s U.S. 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 (USAAW) and World Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Awareness Week, so we asked our experts one big question: What’s the deal with antibiotic resistance?

Here’s the straight-up answer: The germs are catching on.
Antibiotics we used to rely on just aren’t doing the job like they used to. And this isn’t some distant threat—it’s happening right now.

What you can do: If you’ve got a cold or any viral infection, don’t ask your doctor for antibiotics. They don’t work on viruses, and using them when you don’t need them just fuels antibiotic resistance.

What we’re doing: Researching new antibiotics and better ways to treat infections—because fighting off these bugs is turning into one of the toughest battles in healthcare today.

It’s World Diabetes Day, so let’s pause and think about how far we’ve come. 💙

Not long ago, hearing you had diabetes meant facing some tough odds. Today? We have continuous glucose monitors, better insulins, and new treatments that are changing lives.

This kind of progress doesn’t just show up out of nowhere. It comes from researchers in labs, yes, but also from everyday people who step up and join clinical trials. We’re proud to help drive that progress!

Here's a bit of straight from 1895. 🤯

This past weekend, November 8, marked the day Wilhelm Roentgen discovered X-rays. He had no idea his lab experiment would completely change medicine forever.

Thanks to that discovery, we can peek inside the human body without making a single cut. It’s a perfect reminder that even the smallest experiments can help build the future of healthcare. Research doesn’t always look flashy in the moment, but it’s the backbone of every big leap forward.

Who knows what we’ll discover next? Jump in. Maybe you'll be a part of the next breakthrough. ⬇️

There was a time when polio struck millions, leaving kids paralyzed every single day. Now, after years of relentless research and the power of vaccines, we’re so close to wiping it out for good. Vaccines have slashed polio cases by more than 99%. That’s huge!

Today, on World Polio Day (October 24), let’s celebrate what we’ve achieved together — and remember why it matters to keep going. Continued research and vaccinations are what keep polio from coming back.
