Hello family and friends!

Most you know I’ve been with Rock Medicine since 1988. I started off as a volunteer and continued for many years and am now the Executive Director of Rock Medicine.

Rock Medicine is a non profit, 50C3 and has been providing amazing, nonjudgmental medical care in Northern California since 1973. We pride our self in our ability to provide free medical care to the patrons at the events we work.

Some of you might’ve had the opportunity to use our services and I hope it was a pleasant experience.

Everyone close to me knows my love for this program and what we do. We have a large amount of doctors, nurses, paramedics, EMTs, other medical positions and logistics staff that volunteer their time to us. These wonderful volunteers gain knowledge that help them really care about the patient and not worry about anything except getting that person home safe. They also gain skills that can help them in their everyday jobs.

You are probably asking why I’m sending this out. Rock Medicine is in some need of a new 12 lead EKG and defibrillator monitors. These monitors cost close to $15,000 apiece. As a non profit, we need to fundraiser in order to purchase them. I’ve attached a link to this email so we can start raising the money for these. If you can donate, please add “12 lead monitors for Rock Med” in the comment line so we can make sure the funds are allocated properly. Any amount will help.

Thank you so much for supporting this amazing organization.

Gordon Oldham
Executive Director of Rock Medicine

It is with a heavy heart that I share with you all the passing of Bill Burchfield. Bill and Marilyn were such an important and much loved part of the Rock Medicine family, even after they moved to Texas. Our thoughts and love go out to Marilyn and their family at this difficult time.
