✨ This is the first yoga photo that I have taken in a very long time! I was honestly really surprised at how strong I look!

A lot of you may have noticed the trend with yoga teachers turning to strength training – that is because with all of the stretching, we’ve realized we also need to be very strong! 💪🏼
‌
I’m not the exception – after a few injuries I am focused on getting strong than stretching! I still am absolutely in love with yoga and I’m so grateful for this. I love my teacher, I love my community, and I love love love love teaching.

🌴 México retreat success! With open hearts we played in tide pools, got spontaneous healings in the forest, did yoga, watched sunsets, had a transformative temascal ceremony, and experienced the beauty of community and connection.✨

The retreat center/resort exceeded my expectations in every possible way - the rooms were gorgeous, the beach was heavenly and private, the yoga studio was incredibly beautiful, the food was delicious and the hosts and staff were absolutely top notch.
‌
It’s a family run business and they welcome guests as if they are family. I was told on several occasions that I’m family now. I know it’s what they say to EVERY single person at their table, but it meant the world to me. Family is stability and protection and acceptance and love and it was healing to me to feel that.
‌
A big thank you to for encouraging and coaching me to go, .m.michel for his abundance of care and energy hosting us, the staff at , and the entire Martinez family for creating this space for nature and healing.
