I’m in the early stages of building my business that will help millions with Long COVID, CFS and other related illnesses. As followers, you will watch as it grows and be part of the healing process as it blossoms. I put together a go fund me page, see my FB page under features-click it twice to go to the page.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

From Nurse to Patient: Help Me Bring Hope to Millions with Long COVID

After 30 years of caring for others, I became the patient. Now I'm turning my pain into purpose—but I need your help to reach the millions suffering in silence.

My name is Autumn Bull. I'm a nurse, educator, and faith-based health coach with over 30 years of experience in critical care and nursing leadership. I've dedicated my career to caring for others in their most vulnerable moments—from ICU patients fighting for life to families navigating impossible decisions.
In 2024, after my third COVID infection and repeated exposure to COVID patients, my life changed drastically. I developed Long COVID, Dysautonomia, and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), leaving me unable to work and barely able to function. The nurse who had spent decades caring for others suddenly found herself on the other side—dismissed, exhausted, and searching desperately for answers.
I know what it feels like to have doctors shrug at your symptoms. I know the loneliness of losing your identity along with your health. I know the financial devastation of watching your career, your savings, and your independence slip away.
But I also discovered something profound in the depths of my illness: healing is not just medical—it's emotional, relational, and deeply spiritual. As I learned to pace my energy, honor my body's limits, and rebuild my identity beyond my illness, I found new meaning and purpose.
I decided to become the guide I desperately needed when I was at my sickest.

What I've Created
Drawing on my clinical expertise, personal recovery journey, and spiritual insight, I've developed:
" Long COVID Recovery Guide: A Nurse’s Journey of Understanding, Healing, and Hope" — A comprehensive book offering evidence-based strategies, practical tools, and faith-centered encouragement for navigating chronic illness.
Long COVID Recovery Coaching — A trauma-informed coaching program helping patients rebuild their health, hope, and identity through compassionate, personalized support.
These resources blend science with spirituality, medical knowledge with lived experience, and practical strategies with deep empathy. They're designed for the over 400 million people worldwide affected by Long COVID—especially women ages 30-60 who are disproportionately impacted and often dismissed by the medical system.

Why I Need Your Help
Chronic illness doesn't just take your health—it takes your income, your savings, and your ability to work.
After leaving my nursing career, I've poured everything I have into creating these resources. The book is written. The coaching framework is developed. But bringing them to the people who desperately need them requires funds I no longer have.
I'm not asking for help because I've given up. I'm asking because I believe too deeply in this mission to let it die—and because I know there are people suffering right now who need what I've built.

Your Donation Will Help
• Publish and distribute Long COVID Recovery Guide to patients searching for answers
• Cover professional editing and design to ensure the book meets the quality patients deserve
• Build accessible coaching programs, including sliding-scale options for those facing financial hardship from illness
• Create free educational content to reach millions dismissed by the medical system
• Develop a platform to connect, support, and empower the Long COVID community

The Long COVID Crisis Is Now
Over 400 million people worldwide are living with Long COVID. In the United States alone, more than 20 million+ are affected. Many are women. Many were previously healthy and active. Many have been dismissed, gaslit, and abandoned by a medical system that doesn't yet understand this condition.
They need resources. They need validation. They need hope.
They need to know they're not alone.

My Promise to You
Every dollar you give moves this mission forward. Every share extends the reach to someone who needs to hear that recovery is possible. Your generosity isn't just funding a book or a business—it's bringing light to people sitting in darkness right now.
I'm still learning. Still healing. Still believing in miracles—one day, one breath, one small victory at a time.
Will you help me bring that hope to others?

Many of us with Long COVID also suffer from Dysautonomia and/or POTS.
Dysautonomia: When Your Body's Autopilot Fails 🌊
Your autonomic nervous system is supposed to run on autopilot—keeping your heart beating, lungs breathing, and blood pressure balanced without a thought.
With dysautonomia, that autopilot misfires.
What happens:
→ Heart rate spikes or drops out of nowhere
→ Blood pressure swings wildly
→ Lightheadedness or fainting when standing (POTS)
→ Shortness of breath, fatigue, chest tightness, nausea
What it feels like:
Standing up feels like running a sprint. A hot shower leaves you dizzy. Eating a meal makes your heart race.
Your body isn't betraying you—it's confused. The nerves that regulate your vital systems are misreading the signals.
When I first experienced Dysautonomia, I thought I was having a heart attack every time I stood up. My heart would race to 140-160 bpm just walking to the bathroom. Now I understand: my nervous system was trying to do its job—it just had the signals crossed.
You're not weak. You're not broken. Your body needs support, not judgment.
If this sounds familiar, you're not alone. 💛

A Note About This Community 💛
I need to address something important.
This page exists for one purpose: to support people living with Long COVID and those who love them.
Occasionally, bad-faith actors show up—posting denial comments, laughing, claiming COVID isn't real, or trying to debate the existence of a condition that has devastated millions of lives worldwide.
Let me be clear: These posts will be removed without engagement.
This isn't about silencing "alternative viewpoints." This is about maintaining a safe, functional space—just as a cancer support group wouldn't platform people claiming cancer is fake.
Here's why this matters:
Many of you are already dealing with medical gaslighting—from doctors who don't believe you, family members who don't understand, and sometimes your own doubts. Seeing your condition denied in your own support space can be retraumatizing.
What trolls want is attention and disruption. They win when we spend energy debating basic reality instead of helping each other. They win when you feel unsafe or exhausted here.
I won't let that happen.
My moderation isn't just housekeeping—it's harm reduction. It's protecting this space so it can do what it's meant to do: bring hope, resources, and community to people who desperately need it.
Community Guidelines:
This space is for people experiencing Long COVID and those supporting them. Denying the existence of COVID-19 or Long COVID is not permitted and will result in immediate removal.
If you're here in good faith, welcome. I'm glad you're here. 💛
If you're not—the door is that way. 👉

Thank you for joining my page and being patient as I get it up and working. I created this site as a safe space for others going through Long COVID, CFS and other related illnesses so no one feels alone on this journey. I just completed my first book "Long COVID Recovery Guide: A Nurses Journey of Understanding, Healing, and Hope" (I'll let you know when it's published).I Also have outlined a coaching program to help others manage and how to live with symptoms until they come up with a cure! Please share this page with others who are suffering, no one should go through this alone! Also share with anyone that may want to help donate to our cause and help get my book published and program up and running. I attached my go fund me page under the featured tab on this page. The more we can get the word out, the more we can help others live again! If you feel comfortable, Please introduce yourselves and the journey you are going through in the comment section below (I'm still working on how to open this page up to all to post-I hit a snag). I'll start:
Hi, I'm Autumn. 👋
For 30 years, I was the nurse at the bedside—caring for ICU patients in their most critical moments and walking with families through impossible decisions.
Then in 2024, I became the patient.
After my third COVID infection(first was in Jan 2022-I started feeling changes then) and years of exposure to COVID patients in the ICU(starting in 2020), I developed Long COVID, Dysautonomia, and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS). Overnight, I went from 12-hour shifts saving lives to barely being able to stand in my own kitchen.
I know what it's like to be dismissed by doctors who don't understand. I know the loneliness of losing your health and your identity. I know the fear of wondering if you'll ever feel like yourself again.
But I also discovered something powerful in the hardest season of my life: healing isn't just medical—it's emotional, relational, and deeply spiritual.
So I'm building something I wish had existed when I was at my sickest:
📘 Long COVID Recovery Guide: A Nurse's Journey of Understanding, Healing, and Hope — a book that's part memoir, part medical guide, part spiritual companion. Evidence-based strategies meets faith-centered hope.
🤝 Long COVID Recovery Coaching — programs to help you rebuild your health, identity, and life with compassion and practical tools.
This page is where I'll share my journey, what I'm learning, resources that help, and updates as these projects come to life.
If you or someone you love is navigating Long COVID, chronic fatigue, dysautonomia, or MCAS—you're not alone anymore.
Follow along. Share your story. Let's heal together. 💛
