Singing on my recent trip to breathe while climbing 3000 feet, warn off bears, and stay calm when I almost lost a trekking pole off a cliff.

I’ve found learning to control the breath allows us to be stronger and more skilled in playing with our edges. Play with our edges enough for growth, and not so much to fall off.
-
Coming back from off grid, I notice a lot of edges being played societally. Reactions to social injustice, economics, public health, ect...
-
Are these reactions no matter how well intentioned really giving us the results we want if it’s leading to more separation and death? What is it we all really want? 🤔
-
Could it be that when we’re all understandably stressed in these times we stay stuck in fight/flight nervous system states that leads to us being more reactive than responsive in effectively dealing with the issues? When we’re more reactive we tend to overestimate the challenges, which leads to more embracing of conspiracy theories, as well as religious and political dogma since they give us a sense of control.
-
However, while I love and see y’all coping best we can, perhaps we can take a step back, breathe deep to think deep, and ensure we’re not getting unintended consequences such as say falling off a cliff.

How’ve you found ways to play with your edges without going over? Comment or DM to let me know your thoughts. 🙏💜
