Hi everyone I’m sunnie! i do things a bit differently here in the RGV. I offer personalized mobile personal training primarily for women and youth athletes, designed to make fitness simple, supportive, and accessible. I travel to you—whether that’s your home, a local park, or a track—and provide all the equipment needed for each session. With over 4 years of professional training experience and over 10 years of athletic and sports performance knowledge, I’ve worked with clients ranging from ages 9 to 60. I focus on strength training, conditioning, weight loss, and athletic development in a safe, encouraging environment—so all you have to do is show up.

Today’s topic i will be touching on is the importance of a CALORIC DEFICIT!

A caloric deficit is when you are burning more calories than you are consuming on an overall basis, which if you are looking to lose weight you NEED to be on a CALORIE DEFICIT. This is the only way to lose pounds!

When you’re in a deficit, your body doesn’t have enough energy from food so therefore :
• It turns to stored energy (mostly body fat) to make up the difference.
• Over time, this leads to weight and fat loss.

You cannot “spot reduce” fat ( for example back fat, belly fat, arm fat) but a calorie deficit causes overall body fat to reduce in which over time can cause weight loss.

“Why don’t you do group sessions?”

This is the #1 question i receive from clients on end….heres my honest response :

•I don’t do group training because it gives me the inability to focus on my clients needs and specific goals. I see plenty of gyms down here that offer the same service i do EXCEPT with upwards to 20 kids/adults at a time. It’s unrealistic to think that you can focus on every client and give them the attention they need. Clientele see a low fee / session rate and run with it! Little do they know they are doing a disservice to their child or to themselves by joining these groups. It typically ends with no progress being made and the constant wonder of “Why isn’t this working?”

Invest your time and your money with people who care , not with people who see you as a dollar sign!
