After dabbling in yoga and meditation for 20 years, I decided to and for credibility to add the necessary acronyms behind my name. I am now hold specialty certifications in Yoga for Arthritis, RYT Vinyasa Yoga, Trauma-Informed Yoga, I AM Yoga Nidra meditation(level 1 and 2 ) iRest Yoga Nidra (cruising at Level 2, with Level 3 on the horizon) Chair Yoga, and Adaptive and Accessible Yoga. I am also known as "The Zen Realtor" over at Catalist Realty, and it's not your everyday real estate gig; this one comes with a side of heart, donating to non-profits on every deal. Weaving in mindfulness and relaxation techniques, because finding a new home should be exciting, not nerve-wracking! Riding the waves of one of the most meaningful trips back home…(pictures to come ) only to reach the checkpoint and have them take my favorite Jamaican 16oz coffee.
Of course I argued at first — no one comes between me and my coffee! (And if you don’t know Jamaican Blue Mountain … you’re truly missing out. Also with the impact of the Hurricane Melissa the price of coffee exploded) So said to officer that I hadn’t read anywhere that ground coffee of any size wasn’t allowed and that a little forewarning would’ve helped.

Then I caught myself, stepped back, took a breath, closed my eyes, and suddenly witnessed by emotions from the inside It wasn’t about the coffee at all — I was holding the weight of the entire trip, and the coffee moment simply revealed it.
My composure under control breath even , I opened my eyes, apologized, and let it go — grateful for my meditation and breathwork practice that helps me soften, reset, and return to center. 🙏
Moral of story ?
Awareness turns irritation into insight......The moment you witness yourself, you choose peace instead of reaction—you turn irritation into joy. And, of course, a good cup of coffee doesn’t hurt either. 😃"

There are times when the perfect words elude us… and this is one of those times. Yet somehow, this offering couldn’t have come at a better moment in my life. As I guide this gratitude meditation, it is my own heart that swells with thankfulness. For all that I have, for everyone who has supported me… how does one even convey the effervescent sensation that ripples through the heart, flows with the breath, and settles deep into the soul? I am at home, feeling overwhelmed with joy.

With the catastrophic Hurricane Melissa hitting my island of Jamaica, many have asked how they can help. 💔🇯🇲

My niece shared this organization:

🌍 GLOBAL EMPOWERMENT MISSION (GEM) — a non-profit rated 97% / 4 stars on Charity Navigator.

I just got off the phone with their finance department and wanted to pass along what I learned:

✨ Based in Doral, Florida, GEM partners with local Caribbean charities to distribute much-needed supplies.
📦 If you’re near Doral, you can drop off or send a package — they’re shipping out in the next few days.
