We’re ten days into virgo season & almost halfway—and this one carries a different frequency. It’s our first full Virgo season with Pluto in Aquarius, so refinement isn’t just personal; it’s collective. Think systems upgrades, community healing, and choosing routines that actually support the future you’re building.

Sun in the final days of Leo season, Moon finishing up in Cancer today — and the energy has been potent. The heart work + the healing work have been happening at the same time, and you might be feeling both the fire and the tenderness.

Mercury went direct last Monday, clearing the mental fog and helping conversations land again. We also moved through a beautiful Venus–Jupiter conjunction last week that expanded the heart space and reminded us what’s worth pouring our love into.

✨🌞Happy Sunday ♌️✨

We’re closing out quite a week in the cosmos. ☀️ The Sun is shining bright in its home of Leo, reminding us to show up boldly and unapologetically, while the Moon is currently traveling through adventurous Sagittarius — bringing a little fire to fuel our vision forward.

Wednesday night (July 30) at 11:57pm, Venus left Gemini and entered the nurturing waters of Cancer. This shift invites us to soften, tend to our hearts, and lean into emotional connection — but also reminds us to take care of ourselves first so we can show up fully for others.

Then Thursday night (July 31) at 7:46pm, we experienced the Sun and Mercury retrograde in Leo meeting for their cazimi moment. This was a golden window for clarity, insights, and deeper understanding — especially around our authentic voice, self-expression, and how we’re truly showing up in the world.

That Leo new moon energy is still lingering in the air…

We had the Leo new moon apex yesterday, July 24 at 3:11pm EST, at just 2° of Leo. Leo is fixed fire, ruled by the sun, and this new moon was asking us to come back home to our authentic selves. Back to the version of you that doesn’t shrink, doesn’t apologize for shining, and isn’t afraid to lead from the heart.

But this wasn’t just any new moon—it was opposite Pluto in Aquarius. That opposition could’ve stirred a lot beneath the surface. Power struggles, ego shedding, releasing old masks that no longer align with who you’re becoming. This one was a call to be real. No more performative bu****it.

It was also in trine to Saturn and Neptune in Aries—grounded vision meets cosmic dreams. This alignment gave us permission to get serious about our purpose, our art, our healing. To commit to the life we’ve only tiptoed around before.

The Sun is officially in Leo now, having entered its home sign yesterday, July 22 at 9:30am EST. Leo season always brings a shift in energy—one that’s louder, bolder, and a little more courageous. After all the emotional unpacking Cancer season asked of us, this is a moment to reclaim our joy and expression.

But before we leap into the fire, we’re still in the dark moon phase. The Moon is in Cancer today, and that means we’re feeling this liminal in-between space even more deeply. Let yourself rest here. Let yourself release.

We’ve also got some tension in the sky today as Venus in Gemini squares off with Mars in Virgo. Final day of Cancer season… and wow, what a season it’s been.

The Sun’s time in Cancer always calls us back home to ourselves. To the tenderness we try to tuck away. To the quiet knowing that lives beneath our defenses. And this year, it felt especially emotional with Saturn’s recent retrograde, Pluto stirring the collective shadows, and Neptune stationing retrograde just last week.

This morning, the Moon finished its transit through Gemini, adding a cerebral, curious edge to a day that’s otherwise asking us to feel deeply. And maybe even say goodbye to an emotional chapter we’ve outgrown.

Mercury retrograde in Leo just began on Friday, inviting us to pull inward and reflect on how we’ve been expressing ourselves. Are we performing for approval? Or are we speaking from soul? Leo wants to be seen—but this retrograde asks, “Are you truly seeing yourself?” It’s a cosmic check-in with your voice, your identity, and your authenticity.

Mars also met up with the South Node in Virgo this weekend. That’s no small thing. Mars-South Node conjunctions help us release karmic residue—especially around Virgo themes: perfectionism, self-criticism, overworking, playing small to be productive, or trying to heal others instead of tending to our own wounds.

It’s been quite the Cancer season…
We’re moving through some waves. 🌊

After that Capricorn Full Moon last week, we saw Saturn station retrograde on Sunday—and I don’t know about you, but the heaviness of that shift has been lingering in the air like a fog we’re still trying to navigate.

This week, we’re also feeling Mercury slow way down as it prepares to go retrograde in less than 24 hours—adding to the internal, reflective vibe. Thoughts might be cloudy. Miscommunications might be happening. The universe is whispering: slow down, reassess, realign.

We’re also gearing up to see Mars conjunct the South Node in Virgo, which could bring up patterns around burnout, over-focusing on the details, or feeling like you have to “do” your way through healing. This is a chance to release what’s no longer aligned with your day-to-day rhythms and self-improvement habits.

And to top it off—the Cancer Sun is squaring Chiron in Aries while the Moon moves through Aries and will square the Sun later today.
Translation?
Emotions could feel raw. Old wounds might get triggered. There’s a push-pull between protecting our hearts and charging forward. Give yourself grace if you’re feeling a bit tender or fiery (or both at once).

Breathe through it.
Hydrate.
Rest.
This season is asking us to feel it all—not to bypass the messy middle.

On Friday, July 4th, Venus officially entered Gemini after her electric conjunction with Uranus at 29° Ta**us. That conjunction might’ve brought some unexpected insight around love, money, or your relationship to beauty and worth. What shook loose wasn’t random — it’s part of a larger rewrite.

Later that same day, Neptune stationed retrograde in Aries. Neptune is the dream, the fog, the veil — and now that it’s retracing its steps, we’re being invited to review where we’ve been clinging to fantasy or ignoring the quiet truths that want to surface. It’s time to clear out the delusions so you can move forward rooted in reality and deeper intuition.

Then early this morning — at 3:47am EST — Uranus officially entered Gemini for the first time since 1942. This is huge collective energy. Uranus rules innovation, breakthroughs, awakenings, and Gemini rules the mind, communication, learning, and media. We’re stepping into an era of major shifts in how we speak, think, connect, and process information.

You might already be feeling the fire and restlessness of the Sagittarius moon — it’s pushing us to zoom out, to see the bigger picture, to stay curious. It’s okay if things feel a little unstable — new frequencies are anchoring in. Ground. Reflect. Keep your eyes on the horizon. 🌬✨

This Virgo moon helped start our week off with a more grounded practical tone. A good reminder to check in with the body, the rituals, and the little systems that hold it all together.

Sunday we saw Mercury in Leo oppose Pluto retrograde in Aquarius — definitely could have stirred up some power dynamics, communication clashes, or unexpected truths surfacing. Pay attention to what was said, what wasn’t, and what you felt in your gut.

This is also the final full week of Uranus in Ta**us before it shifts into Gemini next week — big shift in collective themes coming soon. The earth beneath us is shaking loose some old ways and preparing us to move with more agility, curiosity, and adaptability.

This one hit deep—the Cancer New Moon apexed early June 25 at 6:31am EST at 4° of Cancer, and it was potent. Cancer is ruled by the moon, so every Cancer new moon already carries major emotional and intuitive energy—but this one was conjunct Jupiter in Cancer (where it’s exalted), turning up the volume on all things expansive, nurturing, and heart-centered. 🌊💗

This is the ultimate manifesting moon—and not just for surface-level stuff. This one is about manifesting emotional peace, deeper safety within yourself, a home within your own body. It’s asking: are you emotionally regulated enough to hold what you’re asking for?

With the sun now in Cancer — the sign ruled by the moon and connected to the 4th house — we’re being called inward. To come home to ourselves. This season reminds us of the power of softening, of slowing down, of nourishing the emotional body and tending to the roots. You can’t pour from an empty cup.
