Here's what his nominator had to say: " Michael provided exceptional care to an extremely nervous and scared patient. He went above and beyond to ensure that all of mine, and my visitors’ needs, were met. Michael is an exemplary employee and has an amazing bedside manner. He stands apart from the other nurses that I have encountered. On a busy floor, he could have treated me as “just another patient,” but he understood my level of anxiety and took every step he could to make me feel more comfortable. At the end of his shift, he informed me that I would be transferring to another unit within the hospital in preparation for discharge the next day. He again went out of his way, and before ending his shift he brought me to the new unit. He even stayed to help me get comfortable in my new room. I have rarely experienced this level of service in a hospital setting and he should be recognized for his efforts and diligence in caring for his patients. Thank you, Michael!"

This state-of-the-art technology enhances our capabilities and demonstrates our ongoing dedication to innovation and excellence in patient care. With two existing da Vinci systems in our hospital, this new addition will bring an advanced level of technology, further improving our efficiency and operational capabilities.

Today, we held our Annual Wellness Fair, thanks to our amazing Wellness Committee. Local vendors highlighted their wellness expertise, while various hospital departments showcased their resources. The event included a flu shot clinic, blood pressure screenings, exciting giveaways, raffles, lovable furry companions, and much more! We extend our gratitude to everyone who contributed their time and wellness insights!

We are excited to announce the addition of Racheal Jafojo, MD, to the Saratoga Hospital Medical Group! She will be practicing at Primary Care - Mechanicville. Dr. Jafojo brings extensive knowledge in pediatrics, elder care, preventive health, and medical education.

In her free time, Dr. Jafojo loves to engage in activities such as hiking, dancing, traveling, and exploring art galleries around the globe. She also has basic proficiency in French and German, along with conversational skills in Yoruba.

Yesterday, we unveiled two new X-ray rooms at Malta Med Emergent Care, each equipped with fixed X-ray machines. Additionally, we have acquired a new portable X-ray unit as well, nicknamed "Auggie", designed to bring comfort and joy to our pediatric patients. We are excited about the new technology and space within our facility to better serve our expanding community!
