one more confession:
When I was in college, I thought the ✨secret ✨to losing weight was tracking every single macro perfectly.
I was taking extra classes to graduate early, juggling late nights at work, student teaching, extracurricular stuff, and still trying to have a social life.
Somehow, I still forced myself to waste time weighing, measuring, and logging every bite of food like my life depended on it.
Every precious weekend, I’d spend hours in my tiny apartment kitchen prepping plain whole wheat pasta, frozen veggies, and baked fish.
I hated every bite—but I was desperate to lose the freshman 15 that stuck around long past freshman year.
Monday through Thursday or Friday, I was “perfect.”
Up at 5 a.m. for the gym before student teaching. Ignoring hunger pangs and chugging diet soda and carbonated water.
Logging every lick into myfitnesspal.
🙃Guess what??! every Friday night, it all fell apart.
I’d eat everything in sight: fast food, greasy campus fries, froyo with all the toppings—whatever I could get with my student meal card. Come Sunday, I’d feel like a failure. Again.
So, I’d promise myself to “be better” next week. Work harder. Be more disciplined. More willpower.
And every week, I’d repeat the same miserable cycle.
🖤If this feels like you, I see you. I know the frustration of feeling stuck on a train that’s going nowhere, but being too scared to jump off.
Because you want to lose that weight so badly.. right?
The truth is, the longer you stay on the wrong train, the more expensive it becomes to get back home—to a body you love, sustainable results, and a life that’s actually enjoyable.
Let me tell you this: You’re capable of change. It’s scary to let go, but you don’t have to do it alone.
You just have to trust, step off that train, and try something new.
You’re NOT broken or lazy—you just need a plan that works with you, not against you.
I’ve been there, and I know you can do this. Let’s make this the year you finally figure this out and get your dream body without tracking a thing 😘
