My name is Maria Kovaleva, I am a California based Certified Holistic Nutritionist (CHN). My focus is helping mid-life women to achieve their goals in weight-loss, energy increase, and motivation through diet, exercise, mind-body balance, and social support. Yes, I`m a nutritionist and the main focus is on the food we consume and it`s value for us. However, I stress the importance of other parts of the overall success mentioned earlier. From the numerous approaches to food, I favor Whole-Food-Plant-based diet, which is quite customizable to your individual preferences and tastes. I want to hear YOUR concerns, YOUR difficulties and things that hold YOU back from achieving YOUR goals. I am a Certified Coach working by International Standards of ICF (International Coaching Federation) and a Certified Holistic Nutritionist.

I work in three areas:

1: Coaching (almost all life issues, but focus on development, purpose, limiting beliefs, difficulty of choice, lack of resources, doubts and fears)
- Long-term support for bold and deep goals, from 3 months, payment monthly, 3-4 sessions per month. $ 210 / month
- Short-term support from 3 sessions $ 70 / session

2: Wellness Coaching ( energy, losing weight, normalizing nutrition, developing healthy habits, switching to a healthy lifestyle, optimizing body resources)
- the cost is the same as pure coaching ($ 70) , but sessions alternate with consultations, you do more homework).

For both of the above services - 15 minute CIM - Complementary Introduction Meeting (audio, video)

3: Hashimoto HLS (healthy life style) - Accompaniment to normalize life with a diagnosis of Hashimoto's or Hypothyroidism. My personal experience of 25+ years, NOT medical advice (!), But I can share with you what to ask from doctors and invaluable support with the use of coaching.
- The service is new, a desire to help rather than for earnings. With donation (I don’t believe in free).

We have a tradition in Russia to make "meat salad" or "olivye" salad for NY celebrations.
My modified salad doesn't have mayo, and potato content is minimal.
The ingredients:
+ boiled potato
+ boiled carrots
+ pickles
+ canned sweet peas
+ boiled eggs
+ protein (this year it is chicken hearts, but usually I put beef tongue or calamari)
Plus, I add
+ fresh cucumbers
+ fresh dill
+ fresh oregano leaves
+ pepper

It is simple, as always here:
greens bedding (purple kale, collards, parsley, Swiss chard) Sauerkrat (i have Russian style, but even kimchi will do) Avocado Olive oil Oregano (dried) Pepper Black salt (optional) Pumpkin seeds (optional)

To make a more fulfilling version just add whole grains (quinoa, buckwheat, millet) and/or legumes (chickpeas, beans), and other seeds like flaxseed, h**p seeds, sunflower seeds etc.
❗ Remember to soak and cook your grains, legumes and to soak and dry your nuts and seeds (sprouting is an important step here as I mentioned in previous posts)

🥰 It was my favorite birthday celebration in last 40 years!

It's hard to say that because I left all my loved ones at home and went alone to spend my day with the ocean.
🌊
I really believe in the power of manifestation, visualization and feeling like the dream has came true.

I have decided to spend my birthday in the most comfortable settings for the soul. I wanted to feel myself and be with myself where I want to be and do what I like to do.

So I've got all I wanted: The place with ocean view 🎑 (sunrise, day view with waves and seagulls, sunset, the full moon at night - all those beauties were right in my window) in a beautiful hotel A bathtub 🛀 (and I brought salts, rose petals, nice oils after the bath) 2 hours of SUP ride, challenging because of sloppy waves, close to the seals, and a lot of talking out loud with The Ocean 🌊 and The World 🌎 . A delicious seafood dinner with a treat with a candle 🦞 1 beautiful sunset, 1 amazing sunrise, 1 full moon night... Where else and when thd world could give it to me all st once?! A lot of good omens, signs. I believed and noticed them. Wonderful feeling - like the Universe is talking to me.

❓ What to do if you ate too much sugar?
❗Eat some protein and fiber
Stabilize your blood sugar by eating some slow-digesting protein and fiber.
🔄 If you don't, your blood sugar will crash and you'll potentially feel hungry and want to eat again.
🍏🌰 Great snack options are an apple and nut butter, a hard boiled egg and pistachios, or hummus and veggies.

It is SOOO good!!! It is sour! If you are not on sugarless diet, add some hobey/agave/sweetener to make it less sour. I love sour, so it's perfect for me!
