Snow, ice, rain & mud! This past week Wellesley Firefighters trained on their new UTV in ALL the elements. This unit will serve the public well, especially during the Shoutout to and for this versatile design!

🚨 TRAINING ALERT 🚨

Attention Town of Wellesley, MA:

Wellesley Firefighters Local 1795 along with Northeast EVOC will be conducting training in the area of Morse Pond. There will be an influx of emergency vehicles this week, however there is no emergency. Thank you for your understanding.

Cold but successful week with Medford Firefighters Local 1032 for Emergency Vehicle Operations and Safety. Participants trained on pumpers, ladder trucks and the tiller ladder. Thank you Medford for your dedication to safety! Thank you Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority for the use of the parking lot for training.

Kicking off two weeks of Emergency Vehice Operations and safety with Medford Firefighters Local 1032. During week 1 all department members will participate in the classroom review including risk management, driver safety and case studies. Week 2 will consist of all members completing the practical driving course. Please be advised this course will take place in the area of Riverside Ave, there will be an influx of Fire Apparatus in the area but only for training exercises.

This past week we were able to work with police cadets to build confidence for Emergency Vehicle Testing. Practical course applications are a very proactive way to ensure success during the academy.

Stoneham Firefighters will be utilizing the parking lot at the former hospital on Woodland Road for training this week. There will be increased fire apparatus in the area however there is no emergency. Thank you.

Proud to partner with Winthrop Firefighters 1070 for a very productive week of Emergency Vehicle Operations Training. Fire Dept members refined skills and built confidence, which will all benefit the Town Of Winthrop, its residents and visitors. Thank you to the Harbor Master for the use of the public landing for training!
