A new bill introduced in Springfield would require Illinois high schools to include female CPR mannequins to address what researchers say is a disparity on how often women receive aid during cardiac emergencies.

📢 If you have reached out via call/text/message and did NOT receive an answer-- we apologize and are currently working on it. We've found pretty major barriers within our current "business app" and are looking at alternatives/solutions to avoid missing customer messages and follow ups in the future. ❤In the meantime, we will be going thru all previous texts/calls/messages to make sure we've addressed everyone's CPR/BLS/First Aid class needs.

📢We are also working on some big website improvements that will make scheduling a class much more efficient for you and for us. 🙌 This will likely take a few weeks.

❤We are exploring a new permanent location for Lifesaver U.P., hopefully by mid summer. Stay tuned. 😃 👏

I am hosting an event for our faith-based community.

All church leaders, current/future security team members or any church member interested in learning about options for keeping your church safe, please contact me by email.

This event will cover topics such as:

- Developing or enhancing a security team
- legalities of armed security
- Identifying safety zones within your building
- Securing your buildings

📢This! PLEASE help women get home to their families🙌...

Call 911 and start CPR.
When the AED arrives, use it immediately-- ✂️ cut off the bra and apply AED pads to bare skin (follow the prompts)...

📢She doesn't care about "modesty" in that moment and she *will thank you later for saving her life.👏

Women are less likely to receive bystander CPR due to fear, myths and misconceptions. We must do more to save women's lives.

Be ready to perform Hands-Only CPR whenever you see a teen or adult suddenly collapse, even if they are a woman. There are just two steps:

1. Call 911.
2. Push hard and fast on the center of the chest at a rate of 100-120 compressions per-minute until help arrives.
