💙 Sometimes a sale is more than a transaction — it’s a turning point for two families.

✅ A story of planning ahead, smooth transitions, and unexpected connections.

There comes a point where living safely at home is no longer possible. For Homer, that time came earlier this year.

Thankfully, his family had planned ahead — years ago, he’d transferred the title of his home into his son’s name. That proactive move reduced his largest countable asset and set the stage for a smoother spend down process before qualifying for Elderly Waiver benefits — all while staying compliant with the five-year lookback rule. 💡

When the time came, Laura Warhol stepped in to help Homer find the right assisted living community — a place he could truly call home. ❤️

From there, I began working with his son to prepare the family home for its next chapter. It wasn’t a quick process, but it was the right one. Over the summer, every item was sorted, every memory honored, and every space cared for — from the home itself to Homer’s “extended home” out back… the workshop. 🛠️

What stands out most from this journey isn’t the sale — it’s the connection that came from it.

Some clients leave a lasting impression, and Esther is one of them. ❤️

She could no longer live safely on her own, and that’s when my wife Laura with Assisted Living Locators stepped in to help her find a wonderful senior living community where she could feel comfortable, secure — and even a little fancy. From there, I sold her home in just 2 days — and $25,000 OVER ASKING — to make sure she had the funds for her next chapter.

Since Esther could no longer drive, I found a buyer for her car and brought her cash in hand so it could be taken straight from the garage, hassle free. With Ted and his team at Caring Transitions handling the move, cleanout, and home prep, everything came together seamlessly.
