Spent yesterday and today crawling under the house with Brayden to put insulation around the pipes. Not because I ever want to be slithering under a house, but because "someone" wants to procrastinate the really important things until the very last minute. We're going to have a very cold overnight freeze, and I cant imagine what we'd do if the pipes froze. Also Spent time both days cutting panels to get the skirting up.
I hate using loud tools, but someone has to do it in this house. The tool yesterday refused to release the disc to replace it, so I googled how to fix it and ta-da, got a new disc on. Our awesome contractor lent us an easier tool to use instead, but by the time I was done under the house I was forced to do the skirting. The skirting is not actually installed. The same "someone" Spent hours today trying to make a wooden structure to hold the skirting, and got zero panels up before the sun started setting. I drug those heavy panels around ,matched up some random screw holes and oh so ugly stuck em to the house. Front of house isn't done so hoping a heater underneath tonight will be okay.
The contractor also provided enough hand me down insulation to finish covering everything.

One single sunflower bloomed! I feel so accomplished. Look at that broccoli though! Sorry for the blurry pics. The wind here is insane some days.

Amazing skin healing from my homemade salve. Its been what, 2 days? The under skin is solid enough to not need the dead skin so I cut it off. Work has been slightly limited by that sore finger, but last night the same gloves that saved me, got a hole an allowed a huge black locust thorn ( toxic tree) to stab me. Even after I was able to remove the thorn, my finger throbbed all night. Now it's wrapped with plantain to help cure it. This is the thumb of my other hand lol!
I need more hands here to help 😉
