The Cho Ku Rei symbol represents the power of the universe. When used, it is a request for increased energy during the healing and cleansing practices that are used in Reiki.
In other words, this symbol allows the Reiki practitioner to focus greater energy on the area that is being treated. Many refer to it as ‘a switch’ that turns on the energy of the universe and helps to increase the practitioner’s ability to heal or cleanse.
