🌀 January Health Focus: Understanding Vertigo 🌀

Do you ever feel like the room is spinning, tilting, or moving when you’re standing still? That sensation may be vertigo, a common but very treatable condition.

Vertigo often occurs due to issues within the inner ear or vestibular system, which plays a key role in balance and spatial awareness. Symptoms may include:
✔️ Dizziness or spinning sensations
✔️ Loss of balance or unsteadiness
✔️ Nausea or motion sensitivity
✔️ Difficulty focusing or walking

👂 The good news:
Physical therapy can be highly effective in treating vertigo—especially conditions like Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV).

At Advanced Physical Therapy, our skilled therapists provide:
🔹 Comprehensive vestibular evaluations
🔹 Specialized repositioning maneuvers
🔹 Balance and gaze-stabilization exercises
🔹 Individualized treatment plans to reduce symptoms and restore confidence

🎯 Our goal: Help you move safely, regain balance, and return to your daily activities without fear of dizziness.

If vertigo is affecting your quality of life, you don’t have to live with it. Physical therapy can help.

📞 Call us today or ask your provider if vestibular therapy is right for you!
