The surprising link between ferritin and hair loss.

Here’s what’s happening …

When ferritin (your iron storage) runs low, your body goes into protection mode.

It redirects iron toward your red blood cells and organs to keep you alive.
Because your body is smart, it temporarily pauses what feels nonessential, like your hair growth. Organ function > hair.

Yes, it literally takes iron from the hair follicle when you don’t have enough stored iron. This = hair loss.

The good news? When your ferritin reaches that optimal 60–80 range, your body gets the green light to regrow hair.

Yes, your hair does regrow back.

If you’ve noticed fatigue, heavy periods, or more hair in your brush lately, it may be due to low ferritin levels.

This is where finding another shampoo or hair routine is NOT helpful and is missing the mark of what’s actually going on.

I absolutely LOVE helping women to regrow hair. It’s one of my favorite things to do with my patients.

Did you hear about this?

The FDA’s announcement lifting the black box warning on estrogen products comes after 20 years of postmenopausal women being denied, gaslit, or never offered estrogen hormone replacement therapy since 2003.

50 million women affected.

Can you imagine how far we would be in women’s healthcare if these women were treated appropriately?

Can you imagine how much better a generation of women would have felt on hormone replacement therapy? And would have lived longer?

While I’m not sure a formal apology will be given to these women, it’s good that the truth is coming to the surface.

Women deserve access to the right medications for their bodies.

Feeling tired no matter how much you sleep? It might be your thyroid.

Your thyroid does a lot more than regulate metabolism. When it’s off, everything feels off like energy, mood, focus, and even digestion.

If your labs are “normal” but you still feel like something is off, you should have a doctor to help you dig deeper. This is where I can help.

I am currently taking new patients at my clinic in Scottsdale, AZ.

If you’re in AZ and are ready to get to the bottom of your symptoms, let’s get started. Comment THYROID and grab your spot for an alignment call with me.

Are the mornings a struggle?

If you’re struggling with fatigue, brain fog, or sluggish digestion, what you eat first thing can make or break your day.

Here are my top breakfast tips for gut and thyroid health:
🥚 Prioritize protein – Aim for 25–30g to support energy, hormones, and metabolism.
🥤 Keep it quick – Smoothies, eggs, or overnight oats are great options when mornings are busy.
🌿 Make it luxe – Blend in a high-quality supplement or delicious spicesfor an extra gut-loving boost.

A balanced breakfast sets the tone for steady energy, better focus, and a better mood all day long.

Your health is your greatest source of power. 🙌🏻

I created my practice because I believe that when women have their health, they have the power to change the world.

But too many women are told their symptoms are “normal” or handed one-size-fits-all solutions that never get to the root of what’s really going on. It’s frustrating.

✅ You deserve real answers without gaslighting.
✅ You deserve care that sees you as an individual, not a checklist or one size fits all protocol.
✅ You deserve a plan that helps you feel clear, energized, and alive again.

This is why I do what I do.

Because when women feel well, they can fulfill their purpose on this Earth and they light up everything and everyone around them. ✨

A thoughtful patient sent me these flowers after I was able to call in the right medication for her while she was traveling.

It was a small act of kindness that reminded me of something big, something that is my WHY.

Women deserve to understand what’s happening in their bodies and have access to care that works for them.

They also deserve to have access to the right medication for them.

I am eternally grateful to do this work every day as a naturopathic doctor.

The reveal day is here! 🥳

I’m so excited to share my new branding, logo design, look and feel with you! It’s been quite the process.

I am thankful for Joan Igawa for creating the spiral logo and color inspiration, and Jacqui Naunton for helping me to refine my colors, style elements, logo, and brand look and feel so it feels in alignment with the energy of what I offer and the experience I am taking patients through.

I wanted to elevate my branding since I have had it for 4 years and what I have offered has changed throughout that time.

Before, I had just finished school, just starting my business in a new state, and was bringing more of a traditional Chinese medicine lens and vibe to my brand, now I focus more on immunology, microbiology for gut and thyroid health (while still incorporating TCM), and a more refined, elevated experience for my patients.

I am so excited to keep creating content, have cohesive branding, and have a brand that represents me and my authenticity, while connecting with my audience and patients.

Stay tuned for more to be revealed soon! I have some additional things coming up for you! ✨

Why does your stomach always act up when you travel?

You’re not imagining it and it’s not just you.

If you’ve ever packed backup outfits, scoped out bathrooms at every stop, or silently hoped your gut would just behave until you got home… I see you.

Here’s what’s really going on behind those out-of-town flare-ups:

• Disrupted routine → your microbiome thrives on rhythm and predictability

• Increased stress → travel can spike cortisol, which slows digestion

• Unidentified food sensitivities → they don’t take a vacation just because you do

✅ The good news? When you get to the root cause, your gut starts working with you and not against you.

➡️ What’s one thing you always bring in your bag, just in case your stomach acts up?👇 Share below!

For me, I always bring melatonin when I travel to help regulate the circadian rhythm. This helps to regulate my gut when I travel and ensure it’s on the right rhythm for whatever time zone I am in.
