Today was the day...... A good day!!!!!!

Last year I figured a good way to not focus on grief is to start a boutique to force me to get dressed everyday...... Well as you can see I'm still not dressed but I've spent a lot of time filling a storage with inventory...... I literally ordered all kinds of stuff and today I got to move everything out and into my new business location....... I had alooooot of obstacles but I also woke up at 2:00am sometimes with a smile still and never a complaint because I'm just grateful to have my sanity and grateful I'm capable of having a driven mindset to reach my goals!

Shout-out to Tre with Makin Moves ....... I have used them for everything the last 6-7 years, they moved my friends, my sister, my apartment, business EVERYTHING with not 1 issue and they're the most reliable, reasonable and one of the only moving companies who don't scam people. They're very nice and I'm grateful that they're still in business...... Please book them immediately and never look back!

The wait is over...... I know I have been MIA but we now have a bigger, even better location and my business is expanding...... 2,000 square feet of my creative mind and talented hands....... The new location will be up and running by this time next week I TRULY MISSED YOU GUYS and I am grateful for the love support and grace I have received it has not gone unnoticed...... Ok I got something in both of my eyes 🥹🥹

The way they're giving me love is going WAYYY beyond customer service, like the hugs and love from each person individually is not something I was expecting omg....... I have always had good experiences here but this absolutely takes the cake I'm forever grateful, someone keeps coming out 😩

Before I can even order they brought out his special menu and gave me their regular complimentary cocktail and added on two glasses of champagne and they came to baby me...... Boyyyy I am in here crying on my red lipstick 😭😂❤️

I'm going to forever treat his life like I would if he was still here and this is exactly what I would be doing before he went to do his own thing

A Note from the Heart 💔🕊️

After deep thought and heavy reflection, I’ve decided to close Isoji Beauty at the end of this summer. Losing my son changed everything for me. My heart just hasn't t been in the same place, and showing up for people while I’m still healing myself has become too much to carry.

Isoji Beauty was born to help individuals heal from the inside out because when you feel good on the inside and look good on the outside you treat people better. I need to protect my peace and pour into myself from the inside out at this time. I’m stepping away from the healing space and starting a new journey with something that brings me joy in a different way: fashion which I've loved since I was a small girl. 

Thank you to everybody who supported me, shared my products, trusted my remedies, and held space for my work. I see you and I appreciate you more than you know. To everyone who prayed for me, showed up for me and gave me unconditional love when Josh passed away "THANK YOU" I needed your hugs and love and it has helped me stay afloat to which I am forever grateful.

Please take advantage of my Farewell Sale before I officially close. And keep me in your prayers as I shift into this next chapter and as always, thank you so much for being the best part of Isoji Beauty.

GRIEF IS SCARY.......it's like you have no control over your body's emotions but ultimately our mind can always be manipulated in many ways.

Seeing pictures and crying every time is not an option for me, I refused to be depressed, so as away to get over my fear I literally printed huuuuuge pictures of my son and dad that I loved the most

Now it's an overwhelming smile because my dad's picture brightens me up so much because it's his personality (Always Hilarious) so I literally giggle seeing it and Josh his smile and chunky cheek bones just brings me joy he's sooooo cutey

You can't bring your people back what's done is done, but the utmost respect is to honor, cherish and never forget their positive memories

Depression does no live here, positive minds do

Here and there I wake up at about 3:00am and look at pictures and videos of Josh because he was never a serious person just like me lol. This day we went to a black on the job event and he loved the experience so much....... I did my best to take him everywhere with me where kids were allowed to come so he could see the happiness and positivity we place ourselves in while learning, networking and having fun......... For most of his life he was always here, always with me and I feel like I allowed the system to tear us apart the last few years....... I am in control of my emotions and I don't take hurt or anger out on innocent people but everyday I'm heartbroken, some days I don't feel like dealing with people because deep down most don't have a clue of the pain from losing a child you had for 18 years. Everyday I'm ok but not ok. Nobody can fill the empty void of having the person who was literally attached to your body at birth removed from this earth....... It's a horrible feeling, I accept death because we all can't live forever but it's going to forever feel fresh like he just passed away yesterday 🥹🥹

I just stay positive, productive and around funny people, I stay away from depressed people, angry people and bitter people. It's the only way to keep living and enjoying happiness while being hurt to the max capacity....... Keep your mind positive 🥰🥰

We put my Dad in a casket this day and it really changed me forever, although it was a very peaceful experience being with him the last few months of his life........ I'm still shocked that he took my son with him but Josh love is Paw Paw so I know that it was meant to be...... I chose to Loc my hair this day on the anniversary of the day of his funeral so I wouldn't sit around moping and it was definitely one of the best things I've ever done....... Grief is a MATHA but stay positive and productive will set your thoughts free...... Spend time with your people, love and hug your people because we just don't know when we will be surprised with death I love you guys today because tomorrow isn't promised 🤗❤️

When it comes to health this stuff is deep, when I say I am an ingredient freak especially when it comes to meat (Yes Fish Is Meat) anything that has a momma is meat Lol and in fact most pescatarians have more chemicals, inflammation and mucous in their bodies then people who eat pork and here is why we have to educate ourselves

Salmon is one of the healthiest fish to eat but it's also the one poisoning the most people along with most of the other sea food products. Wild Caught Fresh Salmon is very dark, Farm raised is what everyone uses because it's cheaper, restaurants use it, friends use it, meal prep people use it but it has chemicals added to alter the color to light pink, why I have no idea and it also has other chemicals for preservatives in fresh & some frozen...... So when you say you're eating healthy but still sluggish and still have health issues it's because it's an illusion of healthy

The best way to choose fish is to get wild caught with no other added ingredients no farm raised at all (Read The Labels And Not Just The Price)

I personally do not bring any farm raised fish into my house so that daily I'm not being poisoned but if I go to someone else's house, to a restaurant or any other location it's acceptable for me to eat farm raised because it's not what I'm doing regularly so it won't have negative affects....... Eat the bad stuff socially but keep your house packed with good

Taking a few extra minutes could save your digestive system, your cognitive function and remove diseases and health issues naturally....... It's all about what we consume....... A few extra dollars for wild caught salmon that's chemical free can in return provide extra living time and save you from constantly getting sick and hospital trips.

Natural things work, we just don't work for ourselves by taking a few extra moments to get educated or spending a few extra dollars
