Emotional intimacy is crucial in our relationships, and to the health of the human spirit. Make sure you have at least one person in your life you can share your truth with. We all need somone in our lives that we completly trust who is always there for us with an open mind, an open heart, who will listen and who holds no judgment. Our sense of connection with one another on this level is one of life's greatest blessings. It can build a strong foundation for beautiful relationships, whether it's with a close friend, a loved one, a partner, a family member or counselor. Open, honest connections with one another is essential to our mental, physical, spiritual and emotional health.
