We had a wonderful “Healthy Heart” event tonight. Thank you Allen County Health Department for the free blood pressure screenings and Need More Acres Farm for the delicious produce! We also had a wonderful guest speaker and member of the Trammel Creek homemaker’s club Kristy Wilson.

❄️⚡In the event of a WINTER STORM power outage....

- Do not open your fridge or freezer: If the doors are opened, the cold air escapes, which can lead to 🤢spoilage.

- Food safety is crucial: 🥩🧀Food is safe up to ‼️4 hours‼️ in your refrigerator during a power outage.

- Safely keep heat in your home: Seal 🪟windows and doors with towels or blankets to prevent ❄️cold air coming through.

-Make sure you have enough 🍞food, 💧water, 💊medicine and other essential items on hand, in case travel is not possible for a few days.
- Fill your 🚗cars and 🛻trucks with ⛽gas/fuel before the storm arrives
- 🔋Charge all devices and emergency power sources📱💻
- If applicable, check to make sure generators are ✅functioning properly and used as recommended
- Check on your 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦family and neighbors.
- As you leave the office on Friday it would be a good idea to turn off the main water supply and drain the lines. 🚰🚿
- 🐎🐄Livestock and 🐈🐶pets will require extra care as well!
