Meet me in the present moment. The view is so FULL from here.
When you can, I invite you to stop what you are doing for a couple of moments and notice where your attention is. Where is your energy? Where is your beingness? As you turn inward and tune in, I want you to simultaneously bring your attention to your breathe. Breathing in and out. Utilizing your breathe as a scanning mechanism, assisting you with this short but important “tune-in.” Just take a few breathes of noticing how you are feeling and where your attention is. Is it here in this moment? Is it still sitting with what transpired an hour ago in a meeting? Is it looking ahead into something that is supposed to happen tomorrow? Without judgement, just notice where you’re at. As you do this, breathing in and out, I want you to allow yourself to breathe in the present moment, including any parts of you that are fragmented in other times and places while you breathe out anything and everything that is keeping you out of alignment with the present moment and out of congruence with your true self in this moment and whatever reality is presenting for you in this moment. Continue this process until you feel you are breathing in the present moment and breathing out the present moment. And now tune into how you feel. Comment below and share your before and after. 🤍✨
Today’s message that corresponds with the exercise above:
We tend to focus our efforts on what has happened or what is to come. Meet me in the present moment to accept what is. To allow the next moment to unfold as it is perfectly intended while you use your breath to ungrip, unwind, and unclench. By releasing the tension of energy that comes with trying to control, we open up spaciousness that allows us to be fully in what is. To
accept the reality. And acceptance, as the bridge to peace, sets us free. free to focus on the here and now, fully present, wholey embodied. Allowing divine flow to guide you through your surrendered, trusting, unguarded heart. It is here, in this space, in this divinely human place, that we learn what it feels like to feel alive, to appreciate each breathe. to revel in the magic and wonder of it all.
