Tonight our youth, staff, alumni, and community leaders showed up together at the Recovery in Action gathering ahead of the Behavioral Health Legislative Forum. 💜✨

We’re grateful to the Washington Recovery Alliance and King County Recovery Coalition for creating space to connect, learn, and lift up the voices of people in recovery. Our young people had the chance to meet policymakers, explore community resources, and see firsthand how their experiences matter in shaping Washington’s behavioral health systems.

Bridges is proud to stand alongside partners, advocates, and families as we work toward a future where recovery is supported, celebrated, and accessible for all.

🎃 Fall Fun at Swans Trail Farms! 🍁

Our crew had the best time celebrating Halloween—
picking pumpkins, petting sweet farm animals, and warming up with hot cider + fresh doughnuts. 🧡

Days like this remind us what recovery community is all about: connection, joy, and making memories together.

Introducing Ellyse Bracken, Executive Director of Bridges, PNW APG. With years of experience in nonprofit leadership and recovery support, Ellyse brings a hands-on, community-centered approach to everything she does. Her work has always focused on creating real, lasting change—for individuals, families, and entire systems.
Now, she’s bringing that same drive to Bridges, where we believe recovery is stronger when it includes both teens and their families. Ellyse’s leadership is already helping us expand our reach, deepen our impact, and meet this moment with purpose.
This , we’re raising funds to grow our programs and connect more teens to the support they deserve. With Ellyse at the helm, we’re ready for what’s next.

At Bridges, we believe recovery isn’t just about supporting teens—it’s about supporting families, too. That’s why our Parent Program is so crucial in helping families navigate the challenges of addiction and recovery together.
Through the Family Program, parents/gaurdians like Melody have found a community where they can share experiences, gain wisdom, and access the tools needed to heal alongside their children. Weekly meetings, virtual education, and guidance from staff with lived experience empower families to not only support their teens but also reclaim their own well-being.
The journey through addiction and recovery can be isolating, but at Bridges, families are never alone. Our program helps families heal, grow, and become the strong support system their children need.

Together, we can create more recovery spaces for both teens and their families.

Meet Varun, a young person who turned his life around with the support of Bridges. After struggling with addiction from a young age, Varun found hope and community through our after-school recovery program.
With the guidance of mentors and peers, Varun has rebuilt his life, graduated from recovery high school, and is now thriving in college.
We’re raising funds through to expand Bridges and provide more teens like Varun with the support they need to succeed in recovery and life.
