Ron is co-owner of Always Best Care of Seattle and serves as Vice President for Outreach and Development, a role focused on business development and operational performance improvement. He recently retired from a 32-year career with Weyerhaeuser, one of the largest wood products companies in the world, where he held positions in export market development and supply chain management.
Ron’s focus at Always Best Care is on growing the agency’s referral relationships and developing new partnerships—particularly as we expand our service area to include Eastside communities like Mercer Island, Bellevue, and Kirkland—as well as improving operational performance. His passion for eldercare came largely from watching his wife and co-owner, Sarah, manage the emotional weight of her mother’s stroke, while simultaneously navigating difficult medical decisions and coordinating daily care needs.
Ron grew up in Olympia, Washington and later moved to Eugene, Oregon, where he graduated from the University of Oregon. He returned to Seattle in 2016 and currently lives with Sarah in the Maple Leaf neighborhood. He has two grown children, Shelby and Garret, as well as a stepdaughter, Maggie. Ron is an avid cyclist, a skier, and enjoys a little fly-fishing as time permits.
