The launch party for Play Therapy Documentation Essentials was more beautiful than I could have imagined — full of friends, colleagues, family, and kids making bookmarks and sharing the heart of this work.

The CCD framework grew from our shared need as play therapists—to have language that honors both behavioral change and deeper internal growth, while still meeting the demands of systems around us.
This new site is a home for resources, tools, and reflections to support us in staying child-centered and heart-centered in our documentation.

A big box of books arrived yesterday.
I got to hold a copy in my hands.
It’s here. It’s real. And I have all the feels.
This book came from years of work, heart, and trust in the process—just like CCPT itself.
I trusted that process, and my hope is that this book helps you trust your own heart-centered play therapy work.
