Your landlord just took a photo like this one. They're using it to keep $600 of your deposit.
Window tracks. Refrigerator gaskets. The exhaust fan above the stove. Every Seattle landlord knows exactly where to look on move-out day — and 9 out of 10 renters miss them.
💡Here's the list we check on every move-out clean:
1. Window tracks + sills (yes — this photo)
2. Inside the oven — especially the broiler pan and door glass
3. Behind and under the fridge — plus the rubber door gasket where grime collects
4. Behind and under the stove
5. Kitchen exhaust fan and range hood filter
6. Bathroom exhaust fan grates (the dust your landlord WILL photograph)
7. Tops of doors, door frames, and ceiling fans
8. Tile grout in the bathroom
9. Baseboards in every room
10. Inside upper cabinets — top shelves and corners
11. The dishwasher filter and door seal
12. Light fixture covers (dust + dead bugs)
Save this before you move. Your landlord saved it years ago.
If you'd rather we handle the whole list, we do flat-rate move-out cleans across Seattle + Eastside. Link in bio.
