Чет я похоже немного утонула во всех этих новых настройках инстаграма, ФБ, телеграмма, про сайт вообще молчу. Единственное, что на данный момент в тонусе—мой телеграмм канал …а с 4-мя подписчиками так еще и чувствую себя там как дома ))

Ещё пару дней думаю, где именно этот упорядоченный хаос—наше Фсе… и всё начнётся.

17 years of blogging, 3 years of silence… and here we go again ))

Now — two worlds:
WILD ALCHEMY — all about flavor, inspiration, and life that feels real.
Alla Koval Designs — with the Amazon shop, new techniques, printed books,
and those long-promised patterns.

Something new begins.
In two dimensions at once.
And in two formats: picture story or text.
Which one speaks to you more?

Now. Alive.
AL21.LIFE came to life — just like that.
And honestly… I froze.
A project born in a single day and living inside me for weeks was already shifting into “let’s perfect everything first…”

Inhale. The Spark.
I ran a crochet blog for 17 years.
Then — three years of silence.
A deep dive inward.
Sometimes you really have to disappear…
to find yourself again.

And then the voice inside returned.
Along with flavors, fungi, light, design, tea, photography, yoga, a whole universe of meditations and unexpected wonders.

Lost. And Lit.
One day chasing a recipe I got completely lost in my own world: photos, scribbled thoughts, half-shaped ideas.

Notes on mushrooms, kombucha, hydroponics,
aesthetics, herbs, design, light, mobile photography…
Maybe I’d write a book.
Maybe I wouldn’t.

And somehow —
a whole concept took shape.
A philosophy, even. ))

finally found a home.
Where lemons philosophize,
mushrooms stretch toward the light,
and strawberries ripen… without soil, but with faith.

17 лет блогинга, 3 года в тишину… и вот опять ))

Теперь два мира:
ЖИВАЯ АЛХИМИЯ — про вкус, вдохновение и жизнь взаправду.
Alla Koval Designs — с Amazon-магазином, новыми техниками, печатными книгами и теми самыми обещанными инструкциями.

Начинается новое. В двух измерениях сразу.
И в двух подачах: история в картинках и текст. Вам какая больше отзывается?

AL21.LIFE вдруг ожило — «Сейчас».

А я… растерялась.

Проект, который родился за сутки и которым я жила больше месяца, уже начал входить в стадию: «А давай сначала закончим сайт, всё отшлифуем… а там и до перфекционизма, чего уж там».

17 лет я вела блог о вязании, своих дизайнах и книгах—жила им, творила, делилась.

А потом три года тишины, вглубь себя.
Иногда и правда нужно исчезнуть, чтобы найтись.

Но со временем внутренний голос снова начал звучать. Слишком много новых интересов вдобавок, увлечений, направлений, идей, чувств, вкусов—этим хотелось делиться, но не было формы, куда все это складывать.

И в какой-то момент, в поисках рецепта, я буквально утонула в своих фото, в наспех записанных мыслях, в нереализованных идеях и наблюдениях:
- про грибы, которые я выращиваю дома
- про клубнику круглый год, комбучу и травы
- про свет, фотографию, эстетику, дизайн, йогу, глубочайший мир медитаций и исследований нового небывалого
…и возможно, оформить все это в книгу. Или не оформить.

В итоге—родилась целая концепция. И даже философия ))

Так появилась
ЖИВАЯ АЛХИМИЯ.

Пространство, где все живое и настоящее—просто потому что жить взаправду кайф, ошибаться весело, а быть несовершенной жутко вкусно.

AL21 • 06.21.2025 • 12:21 — звучит как код. День, когда не только происходит космический перезапуск Вселенной, а AL21 оживает.

А еще, AL21 не просто название ;о)
AL — первые буквы имени, как и Алхимии
21 — мой день рождения.
А вместе—АлХимия XXI века / Alla’s Wild Alchemy.

Здесь нет идеальных стратегий, продуманных воронок и большого запуска. И честно говоря, не планируется…

Но есть вдохновение, лёгкий хаос, радость мгновения, маленькие открытия, достойные собственной Вселенной, и… ты.

Здесь можно делиться недоделанным, быть смешным, передумывать, бродить или просто сидеть рядом и наблюдать как:
• лимоны философствуют,
• грибы тянут споры к свету,
• а клубника зреет — без земли, но с верой.

Очень интересно как все сложится и куда приведет… и, похоже, именно в этом и заключается магия и полный кайф.

И да. Сейчас я влюблена в комбучу. И, похоже, у нас это взаимно.

First, All samples and VERY detailed stitch diagrams (14 total!) for Sunbird tunic are done!

Second. If you also not a big fan of weaving in ends, I have an excited news for you! Right Back and Front, top of Bodice, Straps, Finishing Edging of straps, Bodice are crocheted in one piece, without ANY fastening off yarn, yay!! ;o)

And last, but not least - we are leaving to our vacation to Mexico late night today!! So, our vacation to the same place planned year ago but canceled because-you-know-why is coming true!

Oh, and while I was writing this post, we got a COVID-19 test results… so, fourth - they are negative, so we are off to pack the suitcase!

See you somewhere after August, 2nd …or probably early in the Stories.

А также меня тут осенило как без отрыва ниточки (кто же любит заправлять хвостики) связать полностью правую половинку лифа, его верхнюю часть, бретельки и отделку всего выше перечисленного ;o) А потом уже вяжется юбка, и тоже без отрыва нити. Жаль не успела дописать инструкцию, но подробнейшие схемки для каждого размера отрисованы с огромной любовью и пристрастием ;o)

Увидимся после 2 августа, или в сториз если вдруг… 🥰🥰🥰

Is the stitch diagram on your new avatar real?

…the question I got yesterday. Yes, it is ;o)

The Garden Hat pattern was published in Interweave Crochet, Summer 2017 issue, and now available as individual download (direct link in profile).

This hat is worked in the round from the top down. Concealed wire creates a wide brim that will protect your face from the summer sun.

(🇷🇺⤵︎) What a lovely and busy long July 4th weekend!

We are so enjoined one in our favorite place - Point Defiance Park, Blue Angels show, discovered Normandy Park …and most excited, we enjoyed such a soulful party with our old friends whom we have known for over 20 years… what a blast!! 😍

But, in between, I managed to finish work on the first module of the "Instagram-112" course, and as the result - updated my profile description and avatar. What do you think? 😉

🇷🇺 Благо, вернулось наше обычное идеальное Сиэтловское лето, и мы оторвались по полной! И вчера так душевно посидели с нашими старыми друзьями, с которыми познакомились сразу по переезду сюда - уже больше 20 лет назад 🧐😊

В перерывах между развлечениями я успела закончить работу над первым модулем курса "Инстаграм-112", и как результат - сменила шапку профиля и аватарку. Что скажете? ;)

This one requested in Patriotic colors to celebrate July, 4th will be done just in time 😉 It’s also a good opportunity to test the pattern in size 12.

🇷🇺 А кстати, Sunbird туничка может быть и неоднотонной 😉 Эта вяжется на заказ (и заодно тестирую размер 12) кo Дню Независимости Америки. Но, цвета также подходят и для морской тематики.

Oh my, a record temperature of 104F (40C) was set here, in Seattle on Sunday - the highest since 2009. And the forecast calls for 111F (44С) today—all-time record for the city better known for rain than heat…

We were extremely lucky and safe to have a dual inverter (AC system) in each room…. until power outage in our area yesterday. Thanks goodness it took only 2 hour to get power back!

If you know me, I am not a fan of summer at all. My max is 75F (23.9C), so this weekend was a challenge a bit ;o)

But, lots of iced water with mint, lime, lemon and berries, as well as our favorite ceviche (swipe for recipe) are definitely life-saver.

🇷🇺 Вот уж воистину, Сиэтл, который больше славиться дождями, - накрыло лето 🙈 На выходных было непривычных 40С, а сегодня грозятся 44... такого в истории ещё не было. Здесь обычно комфортные 23-25 летом и до середины осени. Хотя бывает и до 32С в июле, но не долго 😉

Мы с друзьями спасались у нас дома кондиционером и севиче (рецепт в карусели)... пока Вера не вырубилась электроэнергия по всему району. Благо в течении двух часов починили.

Караул, хочу дождь обратно 😂

Кстати, если интересно рецепт севиче—а ля Мексиканская окрошка с креветками, могу перевести на русский. Супер спасает в жару!

I wish I can show you more details... but I can say that pattern for this versatile top is written for 7 women sizes XS-3XL for WeCrochet magazine and will be available for free download as all their crochet patterns.

Now I am back to my lovely Sunbird tunic pattern. I'll keep you updated!
