Come to a neighborhood gathering in Seattle's Mt. Baker neighborhood TOMORROW, Wed. June 26 at 7 pm.
Two large Port Orford cedar trees are scheduled to be cut down for development at 3854 Cascadia Ave. S. on July 1. To build the planned structures on this property, only one of the trees would have to be removed. They help stabilize a steep slope. Come learn more and hear what you can do to prevent further tree loss in SE Seattle and all across the city!

To celebrate my birthday...I am asking all of my Facebook friends to donate what you can to the Trees and People Coalition for GiveBIG 2024. We work hard to advocate for Seattle's urban forest at a time when it is under severe threat from development. We need housing AND trees. We need trees in every neighborhood, particularly those that have the fewest trees. These tend to the be the neighborhoods that experience all kinds of inequity. For our health and well-being, we need to protect mature trees as well as plant more young trees. Thank you for your generous donations!
