Last night’s celebration was so sweet with these two by my side helping me ring in my 59th year. Lauren has given me the gift to truly understand the depth and meaning of what unconditional love means. Joe has given me the gift in this lifetime to understand what it truly means to have somebody resiliently advocate for you even when you are not looking. He has given me the gift of altruism! While my mom and dad could not make the dinner last night, my mom’s gift to me was developed through emulation. She has helped me become the most resourceful and resilient person possible. She has given me the give of stability. And my dad has taught me what forgiveness truly means. I feel so blessed to have received these particular gifts in this lifetime and to have them delivered to me through these loving people. 😍 Mer
