The latest Stories of Scent Podcast has dropped! β¬οΈ
If you want to find out what ingredient I *didn't* add to my latest fragrance, Pink Passion, take a listen to the sneak peek below.
Pink Passion is a classic 80s floral perfume, inspired by the movie Pretty in Pink. It's one of three bold floral rollons that I am releasing this spring.
So, who should have Andie ended up with at the end of the movie?! Drop your comment below! β¬οΈ

Latest news on our website renovation! It's taking me longer than anticipated (of course π) and some of you had questions. I'm here to assure you that we are embracing change and evolving with it! But you might want to note:
1. Our aromatherapy certification program is currently closed to new students. This *doesn't* affect current students, and your program will continue as usual and is still NAHA Approved for levels one and two (depending on your level of study). All other NAHA Approved CE classes (including membership school, e-classes, and our business program) are continuing as usual during this time.
2. We are reorganizing our website into sections that make more sense! This means that perfumery products, classes, programs, and coaching will be getting their own space. Publishing, writing, and editing services will also be getting their own space. And the Botanical Aromatherapy School will be getting its own space with aromatherapy programs, membership, and classes.
Our shop is open and accepting orders/bookings! I can't wait to share our new space with it in a couple of months time (fingers crossed π€) Visit our shop here: https://sedonaaromatics.com/shop/

Last week, I was honored to take part in the Airmid Institute World Wildlife Day, representing the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy.
For those that know me, it was probably no surprise that I found a way to talk about my beloved sunflower! π»π»
Thank you Kelly M. Ablard for hosting this wonderful event and highlighting the sustainability of our aromatic plants.
Now is the time to make a difference in your community...
As a community aromatherapist, you can safely take care of your family and friends at home with trusted knowledge and resources. You can also teach small classes to your community. Or offer your services to community initiatives. Our past students have done all of this and more...
In this program you'll learn how to make several aromatherapy products (including massage oils, diffuser blends, inhalers, bath and body scrubs and salts, compresses and more) to give you a variety of tools to use for aromatherapy. You'll learn how to make an effective (and powerful) aromatherapy blend that you can use over and over again.
Take the first step to reclaiming your power with this level 1 NAHA certified aromatherapy program. We have 2 places left at this never-to-be-repeated-opportunity. Seriously. This is the last chance to study with me at this level!
Drop me a comment below if you want further information!
Be the difference that you community needs right now π

Our next big show is coming up on March 21st and 22nd locally! Find us at the Pecan and Wine Festival in Camp Verde, AZ for some perfume and fragrance testing with a twist! π€
If you are local, please come along and support Sedona Aromatics! We will be launching our NEW 80s perfume rollons, in addition to bringing along our popular Fierce Five collection - and you may even get to make a quick perfume of your own to take home π€
Harry will be on hand for the usual meet and greet - oh, and there will be wine tasting (just not at our booth π€).
We do have an outside booth, so let's hope that this gloriously early spring weather continues for a little while longer π€
What's your favorite part about vending (or visiting) at local festivals? Drop me a comment below and let me know β¬οΈ

We *love* our indie fragrance customers!
We love them even more when they share photos and comments like this one π It's the ultimate "thank you" to the hours that go into creating an artisan scent.
Did you know that to create an artisan indie scent the perfumer will spend *hours/days/weeks/months* studying the plants, aromatic extracts, and how to formulate BEFORE they even launch their business? Then they will spend countless more hours creating a fragrance through several trials, researching the "perfect" bottle and label for their brand, and finally making the final perfume before you even see it in your social media feed?
That's why I continue to share behind-the-scene videos of my process. If you understand the process, I think that it makes you appreciate the final product a little bit more and/or understand it better.
What do you wish you knew about my process and I'll think about what I can share with you? Drop me a comment below β¬οΈ

Which scent influencer makes you hungry?!
That would be gourmand, given the yummy dessert-like aromas that it triggers. For this week's scent influencer, gourmand, we are looking at two popular components: Vanillin and coumarin. Which one is your favorite? π
My latest Perfumer's Perspective has just dropped on Stories of Scent! This week we are looking at pepper.
Did you know that there are green, black, and pink pepper varieties available as an extract to the perfumer? And each has a different use with regard to fragrance.

Sedona Aromatics: The Garden School β’ was created from years of learning and experience. It is not your average aromatherapy school! It is an unique aromatherapy school in that it is a βworkingβ school with a working aromatic garden and onsite summer studio with plant distillation, plant projects, and custom blending projects. Its founder, Sharon Falsetto, continues to practice aromatherapy as a consultant, writer, editor, and custom blend designer, when called to do so, while also teaching and working in the Sedona Aromatics school and garden. Sedona Aromatics is located on a one acre (original pioneer) homestead property, just outside of Sedona, Arizona. Small workshops and retreats are held here several times a year for students to visit and learn about aromatic plants and oils, and to create their own aromatherapy blends either in the garden or summer studio.
If you prefer to study from home, the Linguistics of Aromatics β’ Program was created just for you whether you are wanting to learn to use aromatherapy for yourself and your family, or wanting to become a professional aromatherapist.
Sedona Aromatics is owned and operated by our parent company Sedona Aromatherapie LLC, which has been in business for over a decade, so you can be sure of excellent customer service, knowledge, and products, whichever path you may choose to take with us!
