I love when it starts to feel like fall!! This evening I took a walk around my yard and garden, it thrills me to see so many beneficial plants growing!! I have drying red clover, basil and spearmint, all from my yard! As I walked around I realized how fortunate I am to not only have these plants growing but to know how to use them and share with friends and family. In my yard and garden I have growing: Red Clover, broad and narrow leaf plaintain, cleavers, spearmint, basil, rosemary, feverfew, st John's Wort, yarrow, mullein, stinging nettle, curly dock, California poppies, lavender, elderberry, dandelion, common mallow, and blackberries. A plethora of nutritional and medical plants right out my door!! Happy harvest season everyone!!

I am so excited!!! Headed to our property in Tonasket tomorrow! Going to harvest elderflowers, sage, balsam arrowroot, fireweed, and other treasures!! Then in September I'll head back to harvest all the elderberries I'll need for the year!!!
