What an incredibly educational night we had for our Tea Tuesday learning the indigenous art of appliqué beading as well as history and culture of native americans in eastern NC! Nina did an amazing job teaching and sharing with our ladies who were so eager to learn!

Tea Tuesday: Native American Beading Night 🌿✨

Join us this Tuesday at 6:30 PM at Brio Wellness Center (Selma, NC) for a cozy Tea Tuesday featuring Native American beading and a rich conversation about Native culture during Native American Heritage Month.

We’re honored to host guest artist Nina Martinez (Haliwa-Saponi, Apache, Yaqui), who will guide a beginner-friendly beading project and share about beadwork traditions and meaning.

On Nov. 4th we welcome guest artist Nina Martinez (Haliwa-Saponi, Apache, Yaqui) who will introduce us to the indigenous art of seed beading. Learn how to work with beads, patterns, and color while honoring this beautiful tradition—and take home your own handmade piece.

We had another sold out Tea Tuesday last night! It’s really a remarkable time together for women to build community, learn self care tips for stress and hormone balance while creating something meaningful together! Our focus was the principles of Ayurveda Medicine and Watercolor Painting for Stress Management. Anna Rustin of Light Works Veda did a wonderful job teaching the importance of gratitude, breathing and being present with our senses, while Dr Mindi gave the class a tangible experience of practicing these principles through watercolor.

Our next Tea Tuesday is Nov 4th with special guest artist Nina Martinez, Haliwa-Saponi tribe. She will be teaching us the beautiful indigenous art of seed beading! Registration fills us quickly! Call Lorrie at (919)-351-5787 to register!

What a beautiful fall day we had sharing about how holistic chiropractic can benefit the health of the whole family at the Lockwood Farms annual fall festival in Goldsboro! We especially enjoyed loving on the kids and meeting lots of new people! It was a blessed day!
