On Tuesday November 11th around 0730hrs the Seneca County Communications Center dispatched Seneca Falls Volunteer Fire Department, the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department, and North Seneca Ambulance to an MVA at Route 89 and Noble Rd. Assistant Chiefs Larsen (1463) , Assistant Chief Daily (1464), and Assistant Chief Archer (1465) all responded at time of call. 63 and 65 proceeded to the scene while 64 headed to the station for the Engine. 1465 arrived within 2 minutes of call right after the SFPD. North Seneca Ambulance responded with 2 ambulance for 2 male occupants with minor injuries. Assistant Chief Archer directed North Seneca to come in from Noble Rd as there was debris everywhere. Seneca Falls Engine 1 with 1464 and Rescue 1452 responded. Assistant Chief Larsen arrived on location and assumed command of the incident. Route 89 was shut down at the Cayuga Lake State Park by law enforcement and Route 89 at Lower Lake Rd was shut down by 1452. Crews worked to clean up 89 while Stevers towing hooked up the vehicle. It was determined that the vehicle was Eastbound on Noble Rd but due to icy road conditions was unable to stop on the hill at the intersection and hit a trailer being pulled by a pickup truck that was Northbound on Route 89. Two individuals were transported by NSA to GGH with minor injuries.
