On Monday March 16th the Seneca County Communications Center dispatched the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department, the Seneca Falls Volunteer Fire Department, and North Seneca Ambulance to Route 5 and Route 414 for the motor vehicle crash with injuries. Seneca Falls 1461, 1462, 1464, 1465, Engine 1, Engine 3, and Resue 52 all responded. Seneca Falls Fire units provided scene safety, cleanup, and hazard control. Assisting on scene included Waterloo PD, New York State Police , and NYS DOT. Units were back in service within an hour

This evening the Seneca Falls Volunteer Fire Department held a benefit ziti dinner for our member Mike Richard's. With the help of all of you we were able to provide Mike and his family with some additional cash to help with medical bills, household bills, and other incidental bills that pop up. Mike is very grateful as are we for the outpouring of support. Again thank you all for the support. We'd also like to congratulate Troy Pickard on his win of the Fire Helmet. For everyone that donated we are forever grateful. Thank you to the SMS for the delicious meal and all you do for our fire department and members.

We still have 37 tickets left for the helmet drawing! We are going to be drawing tonight February 26th at our ziti dinner. We will be going live to the drawing so keep an eye out for it. At this point all Venmo money has been transferred over, the remaining tickets must be purchased in cash

If you wernt aware Mike is a proud firefighter, devoted family man, and a hardworking sound engineer. Over the past two years, he has been fighting metastatic prostate cancer, along with ischemic white matter disease, and was recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Due to his illness, Mike has been unable to work, and his family is facing financial hardship.

We want to give a huge thank you to the Town of Seneca Falls Water & Sewer Department. While washing our trucks today, we noticed our floor drains were backing up. The Water & Sewer Department brought their Vac-Truck out and helped us clean them out. We really appreciate the help!
