Meet KymBreanne Shingara of Inner River Embodiment
Embodiment Counselor, Holistic Personal Trainer, Belly Dance Teacher/Performer, Wellness Educator

At the heart of everything I offer is a belief that we are all capable of stepping into a life of vitality, strength, and deep connection. My approach blends the wisdom of movement, mindful self-discovery, and compassionate support to guide people toward healing and transformation – body, mind, and spirit. Since moving from Colorado to rural Pennsylvania in 2020, my family and I have been building a dream of living more closely with nature, and this vision extends to how I work with people. I believe in nurturing the whole person, not just focusing on fitness or health as isolated goals. Life is a journey, and the body is a powerful ally in navigating it. I’ve had the privilege of guiding people through holistic healing for many years. Today, that looks like teaching yoga & belly dance, offering personal training and embodiment counseling, and being a wellness educator. My approach is rooted in creating safe, trauma-informed spaces where healing can unfold. Through my own healing process—from overcoming chronic pain, addiction, and mental health challenges to discovering deeper emotional and physical resilience—I’ve developed an approach grounded in compassion, self-awareness, and sustainable growth. I am passionate about helping others rediscover their strength and heal through mindful movement and self-compassion. Whether you're seeking physical strength, emotional healing, or both, I work with you to create a personalized, supportive path that honors your unique needs. How I Support You
I provide a space where you can explore, heal, and grow at your own pace. I bring a trauma-aware approach to everything I do, and my work is rooted in helping you cultivate a body and mind that feel strong, aligned, and at ease. In our work together, you’ll find space to:
Regain self-trust and confidence
Create lasting change through mindful movement and embodiment practices
Address the root causes of stress and imbalance
Cultivate a nurturing relationship with your body, mind, and spirit
Gain clarity in your goals, needs, business, relationships, and life purpose

Teaching & Community Engagement
In addition to my work with clients, I also teach part-time at our local community college, where I offer courses in Yoga, Nutrition & Wellness, and Human Sexuality. This allows me to share my knowledge with a wider audience, fostering holistic health and well-being in our community. My approach to teaching is grounded in the same principles of mindfulness, embodiment, and empowerment that I offer in my personal work. Sports & Exercise Science
2014 AFAA Certified Personal Trainer
2014 Began teaching American Cabaret Belly Dance & performing professionally
2019 200hr Yoga Teacher Training with Jen Hicks
2023 Facilitator of The Empowered Heart (functional methodology for emotional healing)

Ongoing Training & Areas of Expertise
I’m deeply committed to my own growth and continuous learning, and I integrate a variety of holistic practices into my work. These include nutrition, habit creation, herbalism & Ayurveda, trauma-aware communication, myofascial release, and bodywork. These areas of expertise complement my foundational training and enhance the support I offer to my clients as they navigate their own healing journeys. I continue to learn and grow alongside my clients, and I’m deeply committed to providing the most compassionate, effective guidance I can offer. If you feel a resonance with the work I do, I’d love to connect and learn more about your unique path.

Fitness needs a heartbeat.

A generic workout plan without a real person seeing your progress is just another "should" on your list.

You start with the best intentions, but life gets loud, and that digital app sits on your phone—a quiet reminder of a commitment that didn't have a heartbeat.

The missing ingredient isn’t more willpower or a better algorithm. It’s relationally founded accountability.

In my world, you aren’t just a data point. You are a woman I know, a story I’m invested in, and a journey I’m honored to witness.

When you finish a workout, I’m the person on the other side of the notification beaming with pride.

When you hit a snag in your week, I’m the one helping you pivot.

And when you start to feel that inner strength reflecting in your physical body, I’m the one celebrating that integration with you.

Movement is vulnerable. It’s personal. And it’s much easier to stay consistent when you know you aren’t doing it alone.

Ready for a partner in your progress?

Comment “LET’S TALK” below. I have 2 spots open for 1:1 coaching this month, and I’d love for one of them to be yours.

You've done the inner work. Is it time for the outer work to match?

Inner work: challenging emotional work that nobody will ever pat you on the back for. Healing your heart, reprogramming your mind, breaking patterns.

It seems like people either start their healing journey with the inner work or the outer work - or if you’re like me, it all started with outer work. Hiking, lifting, playing in my 20’s. Then the call to go within.

Are you feeling the call to shift into the outer work again? You know getting strong in your body is the right next step to reflect your inner strength and resilience. But squeezing in healthy habits feels daunting.

If you’re looking for a mindful approach that invites you to reconnect with the part of you that enjoys moving, releasing, feeling strong - you’re in the right place.

If you need a system that takes you from fitness as a future to-do list item to reality, I’ve got you.

The system looks like:

✨ Reconnecting with the part of you that enjoys being active
✨ Committing to short, intentional workout sessions that feel revitalizing
✨ Relationally founded accountability. Aka, your trainer waiting to get notified that you completed your workout.

Taking care of “you” doesn’t have to feel like an overwhelming chore. Together, we can put the work in to remind you of your true essence - a strong, capable woman who will feel energized and confident for decades to come.

If you want to talk more, comment “let’s talk” and I will message you.

To the woman who wants to reclaim her physical strength but struggles to squeeze it in…

You’ve been in a rut. Feeling down about your body, dreaming of the days in decades past when you exercised regularly and could move about fluidly.

Life has gotten in the way of your fitness. Your energy reflects it. You know you need to reclaim your health, but you aren’t sure how you’re going to squeeze it in.

Girl - I completely hear you and see you and at times, am you.

I am grateful to have figured out a system that supports women like you in re-prioritizing your needs. The system looks like:

✨ Reconnecting with the part of you that enjoys being active
✨ Committing to short, intentional workout sessions that feel revitalizing
✨ Relationally founded accountability. Aka, your trainer waiting to get notified that you completed your workout.

You don’t need an hour 5x/week to reconnect with your strength. You need intention. You need to reconnect with the current of your own energy.

When life gets loud, movement is often the first thing we let go of. We’ve been conditioned to believe that if it isn't a grueling 60-minute session that fits a specific "fitness mold," it doesn't count.

But movement shouldn't be a source of stress—it should be your anchor.

My approach is about building a system that actually lives in your reality. We don't force your life to fit a template; we co-create a personalized plan that honors your specific schedule and energy.

Whether we’re finding a creative 15-minute window or a full hour of deep work, the goal is the same: movement that prioritizes how you feel and reinforces your resilience.

It’s time to stop "fitting fitness in" and start moving in a way that fuels you.
Comment “INTENTIONAL” below and let’s find a creative way to get you moving again.

This might be a bit controversial, but I believe that healing your mind is only half of the journey.

Your body is the physical record of your healing.

You’ve done the therapy. You’ve set the boundaries. You’ve broken the patterns.
But if your body still feels weak, sluggish, or disconnected—the “inner work” hasn’t yet infused your physical body and 3D habits.

True holistic health means your physical strength reflects your mental resilience.

When movement becomes a tool for deepening your inner healing, exercising stops being a chore and starts being purposeful.

Are you ready to shift into the "outer work"?

I specialize in helping women bridge this gap through mindful, intentional strength training that respects your journey and honors your time.

Save this if you’re ready to bring your body along for the journey, or comment "ALIGN" if you're ready for support in building a body that matches your inner strength.

March Newsletter

Hey beloved friend,

I hope this message finds you well. It appears Winter and Spring are having a great duel in PA - a few days of warmth and sunshine - and now an ice storm! My classes have been cancelled today, my son's school too. The boys are working on my son's cub scout derby car and I am cozied up on the couch writing to you.

My energy has swung with the weather recently. The sun came out and I remembered joy and lightness which I realized hadn't felt in months during the steadiness of Winter. Garden plans have begun, seeds have been ordered, and visions of warmer days are cradling my heart.

In Yoga, we have been practicing letting go - letting go of a little tension in the shoulders and jaw. Letting the belly unclench. Welcoming the safety of a given moment, when it is, in fact, safe. Recognizing there is a time to hold and care deeply, and also a time to release and trust.

Please keep reading to find updates about classes and opportunities to plug in - we would love to welcome you!
