We’re welcoming spring with music, movement, and plenty of petal-powered fun! Little ones will bloom as we explore songs about growing, sway like flowers in the breeze, and use colorful scarves and instruments to bring our garden to life. 🌼🎶

We've got so many new friend over here so I thought I might take a minute for a !! My name is Jessica, but my friends call me Jess and so you can too. I often refer to myself as Auntie Jess within this space. Why do I do that? Because like at the Olive Garden, when you're here, you're family. (Olive Garden is not a sponsor, but Olive Garden feel free to give me a call! 😆)

I hope you will consider me like your big sister or Auntie who's over here helping you navigate the early seasons of parenthood! Because, my loves, you are in the thick of it!! And much like you, I've been there too!

I've got three daughters of my own (ages 12, 10 and almost 7) and I lovingly refer to us as the Pitts Sorority House. We have a sorority dad, his name is Kevin, aka Mr. Jess. We also have a cat. Her name is Georgina Applebottom (named after a famous TikTok chicken b/c in my heart I want a house chicken, in a chicken diaper, but Mr. Jess said no, so I named my cat after a chicken instead). Georgina Applebottom is my precious-angel-baby-golden-child-chosen-one and my soul cat.

I'm the owner and head creative over here at the Kids Creative Space. I'm an extrovert. I love being around people. I love talking to them. I love hearing their stories. I love sharing space. And most of all, I love you. And if I don't know you, I bet could love you!

This is a place where we are brave souls who aspire to stay creative! So welcome!

Ocean-themed invitations will immerse your child in a variety of materials as they create unique, process-based art inspired by the sea. We’ll bring the seaside to the Midwest with beachy vibes, ocean creature creations, and plenty of creative exploration. Along the way, children will enjoy sensory experiences, stories, and loose parts prompts. Bring a lunch.

Embark on a Rainforest Adventure for early elementary students ages 5-8. Explore music, movement, and process art with daily rainforest-themed activities, including songs, instrument play, creative movement, imaginative play, yoga, themed props, and open-ended art. Dive into the lush world of the rainforest, discover exotic creatures, and unleash creativity. It's a jungle of fun for young explorers!

Children explore local flowers and plants through creative invitations, including weaving, painting, pastels and collage! Real plants will be used to create unique printed designs, floral arrangements and transient artwork. Hands-on and sensory opportunities will be offered with planting seeds, sand and more. There will also be a variety of stories, and age-appropriate books to guide learning and increase curiosity. Please bring a sack lunch.

Gather your early elementary students and join us for a music, movement, and process art camp. Each day will revolve around a summer theme as we explore songs, instrument play, creative movement, pretend play, yoga, themed props, and open-ended art-making opportunities. We’ll spark imaginations to dance in the sun, design our own swimming pool, visit the beach, and get sweaty!

Our regularly scheduled classes are taking a little spring break pause this week! 🌷

We hope your family is enjoying a slower schedule, extra sunshine, and maybe a little more time to play together. Our regularl schedule will resume next week and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back for more singing, creating, and joyful exploring together. 🎶🎨
