White Oak of Shelby White Oak of Shelby, located near Cleveland Regional Medical Center, provides long term nursing care, as well as short term rehabilitation.

White Oak of Shelby is a 160 bed skilled nursing center conveniently located within a short drive from Cleveland Regional Medical Center. We provide long term nursing care, as well as short term rehabilitation in our designated rehabilitation wing. Nursing care is provided by Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants 24-hours a day. Our interdisciplinary team develops an appropriate plan of care for each individual in coordination with the physician’s orders. The service of White Oak of Shelby is more than caring for immediate physical or medical needs. Through understanding, compassion, professionalism and respect, we strive to enhance the quality of life for each individual.

Yesterday we had our first CNA of the Year reception where we recognized four CNAs within the building who have been nominated for CNA of the Year at WOM-Shelby. Leslie Ortega, Jada Greene, Gabby Robinson and Winner Yolanda Lisbey will represent our facility on Monday 11/10/25 at the CNA of the year banquet being held in Charlotte. Along with being our facility's winner, Yolanda has been nominated for regional CNA of the year, which will be announced at the banquet.

Last Friday, Life Enrichment hosted our first Oscar Awards show. The residents got certificates and trophies based on their personalities (Best Smile, Most fashionable, etc.) . They enjoyed dressing up and rolling down the red carpet. Each had a star with their name on it on the floor so they enjoyed finding their name. A great time was had by everyone!
