Mr Jenkins family has been farming in Shelby NC for the better part of five decades. His father passed down the farm to him and he has kept it going. Being a successful local businessman and one of the last real farmers here in America we asked him to illuminate us on what makes him who he is .

Better bring a raincoat and some fabreeze ladies and gentlemen. Next Saturday we will be closing at 9 pm to the public and laying out the tarps for these wild and crazy meemaws. This event is 18+ we already got a full roster of fully hydrated meemaws from all over Cleveland County ready to take a crack at the competition. Top prize is $500 in food and groceries at Pleasant Mart . Remaining top 5 will be awarded a gift card in the amount of our choosing.

I know things have been a little rough lately if you're on that EBT . Which is why we have spent countless hours developing our official Pleasant Mart Blessing Box . This is a way customers can anonymously donate discarded scraps and giblets for the poors to eat. We stuck it in the mens restroom so that the public doesn't laugh and jeer at you for being a loser.

We are now enrolling students in our community night classes on how to start smoking. Class covers benefits of smoking and techniques. Students must take intro classes before they will be admitted to advanced courses . Materials will not be provided, all ages welcome . Classes will start at 7pm begining of next month.Stop by the store to enroll or ask further questions

I'm beginning to think that the local Police Department has a bone to pick with us or something. Did the Bear fightin contest get a little outta control ? Yes. Was Randys Bear a well trained stunt bear ? actually no it wasn't. Big deal . Anyways no one was hurt or arrested. We will come up with a new promotion soon
