Alright — let’s call it what it is.

Team and families,

It’s cold.
It’s snowy.
And yes — it’s uncomfortable.

Let’s be real about that.

The forecast has all of us a little on edge right now. That’s normal. Cold and uncertainty like to make noise if we let them.

But if we zoom out for a second.

We’ve been here before.

From dark, wet runs in Forest Park, to the mud pits and river crossings at Ultimook, to cold mornings on the Nike campus and long stretches on Hollister and LeBron Hill, we never waited for perfect days. The work happened in the cold, the rain, and the quiet.

That’s where our composure was built.
That’s where our confidence came from.

We all know the rule: we only cancel practice for lightning.
There’s no lightning in the forecast for Saturday.

So we don’t need to worry about the sky.
We just need to bring our own fire.

That doesn’t mean there aren’t nerves.
It means this moment matters to us.

Saturday will be challenging.
And that’s exactly why it’s exciting.

This is the part we’ve been building toward together.

We show up steady.
