Good to know! Keep your horses cool as summer heat waves come through!

During the warmer summer months, horses are at a greater risk of heat stress and resulting complications. Horse owners need to be aware of horses most at risk (older horses, transported horses, heat index, etc.) , signs of heat stress, and practice preventative measures to avoid it from occurring.
