Meet the Therapist: Paula Goyke
Paula has been with Soar Services since 2024 and is based in the Ashland, WI office, also offering telehealth services.
Paula has experience working with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, attachment-related concerns, neurodivergence, and OCD, and she tailors her approach to support each person individually.
Paula works with children ages 5 and up utilizing play-based therapy in her fully equipped, research-informed playroom. She often connects with caregivers with the goal to better understand and support each child’s thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and life experiences, fostering growth in a safe, engaging, and nonjudgmental environment.
She also enjoys working with teenagers, creating a supportive space for self-exploration while helping them build skills to navigate life’s challenges with confidence.
In addition, Paula provides support services within the Ashland School District at both the elementary and high school levels.
With adults, Paula utilizes a person-centered approach, incorporating a range of talk therapy modalities to help process life experiences and reduce distress.
Across all populations, she integrates art therapy interventions, psychoeducation, CBT activities, and somatic techniques to promote lasting change. Her psychodynamic foundation is thoughtfully integrated with evidence-based approaches to meet each client’s unique needs.
Outside of the office, Paula enjoys playing roller derby, collecting stickers and tattoos, starting inspired projects, anything dinosaurs, snuggling her two tiny dogs, and cozy weekends at home with her family.
