We are excited to announce the opening of our new Transitional Care Unit, where patients will recuperate close to home and family after an injury, surgery or serious illness. Equipped with 20 private suites (each with its own bathroom), on-site therapy gym, group dining and activity area, our new TCU is the perfect combination of comfort and privacy.

We look forward to helping our patients regain strength and independence for a safe return home or to the next appropriate level of care. It is with great anticipation that Sheridan Memorial Hospital and The Foundation announces the opening of the new Transitional Care Unit – right here at home. The new Transitional Care space on the 2nd and 3rd floors of our hospital building were opened to patients on September 12th and includes 20 comfortable private suites, each with its own bathroom.
