Those of you who have the pleasure of knowing our Americorps VISTA, Celia, you know how amazing and integral to NAMI Sheridan she is.

Celia loves her work with NAMI and just signed on for a second year of service. But our goal is to keep her long after her VISTA service ends. Recently, she was accepted to the 2026 Leadership Sheridan class, and we’re so proud of her. Celia’s desire to grow in her nonprofit work and get to understand Sheridan even better will serve NAMI well.

✨ We’re Back—Second Round Added! ✨

Due to high interest, NAMI Sheridan Wyoming is launching a second round of our Healing Your Relationship with Food & Body Support Group.

This is a FREE, 10-week therapeutic group led by licensed clinician Amanda Parks, designed for adults seeking a more peaceful, compassionate relationship with food and body. The group follows the Intuitive Eating Workbook and offers a supportive, structured space for healing and growth.

⚠️ Important details:
• This is a closed group (participants commit to the full 10 weeks)
• Space is very limited
• Spots filled quickly last round

Did you know NAMI Sheridan Wyoming and Sheridan County Prevention together to host a FREE su***de loss support group led by local clinicians from Foundations for Living Whole, LLC. If you’ve been impacted by su***de and need a place to process, please contact us.

Thanks to Ann Perkins for sharing some about NAMI in this article.

Out of the 91 deaths in Sheridan last year, 16 were deaths by su***de. This number is not okay to us. We will continue to work to lower it.

Record high su***des in Sheridan for 2025.
