🏥 National Nurse Practitioner Week (November 9 – 15): Our nurse practitioners provide excellent, patient-centered care across a wide range of service lines, from the Women’s Clinic and Primary Care to the Heart Center, Sheridan Green House and beyond. They are essential members of our care teams, offering expert clinical assessments and compassionate care to our patients and their families.

💙 Community Foundation Week (November 12 – 18): The Sheridan Memorial Hospital Foundation’s incredible team and board members champion our mission every day and play a vital role in strengthening the care we provide at SMH. Through fundraising efforts like the annual Link – Partners in Pink 5K, community partnerships, donor stewardship and funding for staff scholarships and essential equipment, the Foundation helps ensure our teams can continue operating at the highest level of excellence.

We are grateful for the dedication, expertise and heart these teams bring to our hospital, and we invite you to help us thank them for all they do!

Sheridan Memorial Hospital’s outpatient clinics and services are fully operational following yesterday’s power outage. Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding while we worked through the situation. 🏥💙

We are currently experiencing technical issues with outgoing calls, but patients can still reach us by phone without any difficulty. While we work to resolve this, you may receive text messages from members of our teams as an alternative way to communicate.

Thank you again to everyone who helped restore power and keep our community safe!

Reports from power companies indicate power has been fully restored across Sheridan County. ✅️

With service restored, the warming and charging shelter at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds is now closed.

Reports from the power companies indicate that power has been fully restored across Sheridan County.

With service restored, the warming and charging shelter at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds is now closed.

At this time, we have not received information about what caused the outage, but we’ll share any updates as they become available.

Thank you to our residents for your patience and to the utility crews, first responders, and volunteers who worked quickly to restore power and assist the community.

Power outage update - Warming and charging station open at Sheridan County Fairgrounds ⚠️

Sheridan County Emergency Management has opened the Sheridan County Fairgrounds Events Hall at 1753 Victoria Street in Sheridan for anyone needing a warm place to go or a location to power medical devices or charge equipment during the ongoing outage.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or visit the Emergency Department at 1401 West 5th Street.

The American Legion Auxiliary in Sheridan assembled a special gift for the first baby born at Sheridan Memorial Hospital on or after Veterans Day, November 11. ❤️💙

Congratulations to Lisa Crowshoe on the arrival of her baby girl, Rhea, Sheridan Memorial Hospital’s 2025 Veterans Day baby! Rhea was born yesterday, November 11, at 2:32 pm, weighing 8 pounds, 1 ounce.

We salute all veterans and thank them for their service. Thank you to the American Legion Ladies for honoring our veterans and supporting our hospital in such a meaningful way!

Whether it’s mammography, DEXA scans, MRIs or X-rays, their expertise helps our providers see the unseen and make life-changing decisions every day.

🍎 National Diabetes Education Week (November 2 – 8): Our Diabetes Education team empowers patients to live healthier lives through education, support and ongoing care. Their compassion and expertise help our community take charge of their wellness and make lasting, positive changes for better health.

📋 National Medical Staff Services Awareness Week (November 2 – 8): Our Medical Staff Services team safeguards our patients, supports our providers and strengthens our organization through a variety of critical functions, including verifying provider qualifications, granting clinical privileges, supporting medical staff leadership and more.
