According to the CDC, 13.4% of women between the ages of 15 - 44 have impaired fecundity and 8.5% of married women have infertility.
With the amount of single mothers by choice on the ride, the percentage of infertile women in the US alone is much higher than reported.
You don’t have to be a mother or have the desire to be a mom to understand the devastating effect of infertility on women of any age.

Never thought this agency would be a team of four, but here we are today.
For 15 years, I managed this agency alone. There were times when I imagined what it would look like to expand but bringing it to fruition was often met with challenges.
This field while rewarding, is incredible stressful. You take on the emotions and stress of your clients when they’re at their most vulnerable, while battling an industry that can be financially and mentally volatile.
While I’ve had the pleasure of helping hundreds of people achieve their family planning dreams, I’ve also felt a deep conviction over the last year to focus on my own.
I’m grateful for the opportunity that this allows me to take a step back that I’ve so desperately needed.
It’s been a wonderful 16 years in reproductive medicine. I’ve met some of the most compassionate people around the world as well as having amazing opportunities such as the feature in Forbes.

Here’s to 15 years and counting.
As the Owner of Fruitful Roots Fertility, I’m proud to say that in all 15 years of my career I’ve never had a donor of mine experience the mistreatment and unethical practices I endured. It is due to my own journey and lack of compassion I received from agencies and clinics that I created a unique donor agency that emphasizes personal relationships, holistic wellness, access to integrative health practices and 24/7 care for both Donors and Recipients.
While I’m not sure how many more years I’ll continue my journey as an agency Owner and Director, for now, I will continue as an advocate for anyone seeking more transparency and guidance on their family planning journey.

I remember eleven years ago when I took my first steps into the IVF world. I never imagined the possibilities, the wonderful relationships and the unexpected life experiences that I’d be gifted with. I was young, new to the field and searching for a way to do something more. I didn’t know what that “more” was, but I knew I wanted it to be meaningful.
Through connections and networking, I landed a job with an agency and became a donor manager. After a rather difficult learning curve, I quickly became a case manager, surrogate manager and eventually founded my own agency. I listened and became observant, particularly regarding the negative feedback from intended parents. I questioned why for so much costs, the intended parents were left feeling more vulnerable than when they first began their IVF journey. This was by their own clinics, their own doctors, their agencies and their donors. I personally and professionally wanted to make a change.
The most difficult part of this profession is working together with other human beings who are maxed financially and emotionally. This job takes compassion and empathy. After awhile, if you begin to feel numb, you have to know when to step away and view it all with a fresh pair of eyes and renewed heart. This job is a lot of work. Donors can sometimes make you feel like a parent. Clinics can frustrate you when lacking communication and not being able to give your intended parents everything they deserve can bring you down to the point of tears. So, I decided that I wanted to build an agency that gave our recipients real comfort, value, support and peace of mind.
CM Consulting IVF is very small, only working with a handful of intended parents each year. This allows us to be hands on throughout each cycle and able to provide complimentary services prior to matching. We don’t mind giving guidance even if you choose to work with a different agency. We are simply here to help.
While hundreds of agencies and clinics raise their fees each year, we remain consistent and flexible without increase. You’re not just another intended parent or a registry number in a pool of thousands. Our donors are not being seen by thousands of people, creating a bidding war for their eggs. This isn’t your average agency. Your feelings, your journey, your thoughts, all matter.
Regardless of your past agency experiences, we hope that we are able to provide you with the unforgettable care that you deserve. It is my belief that we all serve a purpose larger than ourselves and I hope that my agency and our staff reflects that belief in our everyday work.
