One of the most common questions I get from my patients is “what about peptides??”. I think some peptides that aren’t yet approved will eventually have both safety and efficacy data. BUT I also think some will not have either safety or efficacy data (or neither). So, if you are healthy, why roll the dice????

3 tests to run to assess your risk for ASCVD if you are on a carnivore diet (but also if you are not). A carnivore diet can increase LDL-c and APO B levels so testing is important. A lipid panel will tell you your LDL-c level so if your doctor won’t order APO B then a lipid panel can suffice. I run comprehensive labs on all new patients, these are just the 3 important for ASCVD prevention. I am not suggesting or supporting a carnivore diet, but it’s important to know if you are on one.
