One of the biggest things nobody explains about postpartum is what sleep deprivation actually does to you emotionally.
It’s not just being tired.
Sleep loss makes your brain more sensitive to stress.
It lowers your emotional resilience.
It makes small things feel huge.
It makes anxiety louder.
And it makes it so much harder to regulate your emotions.
So when women say postpartum feels overwhelming, it’s not because they’re “not strong enough.”
It’s because they’re trying to recover from birth, regulate their hormones, and care for a newborn — all while running on almost no sleep.
This is exactly why postpartum support matters so much.
Not just someone bringing you snacks.
But someone helping you feel calm, supported, and emotionally safe while your body adjusts.
That’s what we focus on inside my postpartum support and postpartum circles 🤍
If you’re pregnant right now, this is the support you deserve before baby arrives.
And if you’re already postpartum, you don’t have to push through it alone.

You’re not meant to do this without support 💫
