🏆 Congratulations to our Pillar Award recipient, Kenzie!
Her compassion and professionalism were on full display as she supported a patient through the heartbreaking confirmation of a miscarriage — offering comfort, clarity, and kindness during one of the most difficult moments of their life. Kenzie also went above and beyond for her team — being called in six times between two 12‑hour shifts, staying late when CT went down, and returning for another full shift with barely any rest.
Her dedication, selflessness, and commitment to patient care are truly extraordinary.

In partnership with Texoma Council of Governments (TCOG), Grayson County Texas A&M AgriLife Extension and Home Instead, this event empowered seniors with practical tools to protect their hearts and live healthier lives.

Inclement weather: 5️⃣
SMC WellCare & Outpatient Clinics: 0️⃣
After being closed all week, the WellCare Clinic (Family Medicine, Occupational Health & Pediatrics), Outpatient Therapy Clinic (PT, OT, ST & Cardiac Rehab) & Hyperbaric/Wound Care Clinics will return once Mother Nature chills out!

Sherman ISD schools and offices will remain closed Friday, January 30 due to the lingering impacts of the recent winter storm. Classes and extracurricular activities are canceled.

While road conditions are improving, many slick spots remain on streets, parking lots and other areas that need to be safely accessed by our buses, students, families and staff. Refreezing is also expected overnight.

Information regarding any potential make-up days will be communicated at a later date. We look forward to seeing everyone back at school next week!

❄️We’re snow-rry to say it again… but our WellCare Clinic (Family Medicine, Occupational Health & Pediatrics), Outpatient Therapy Clinic (PT, OT, ST and Cardiac Rehab) and Hyperbaric/Wound Care Clinic will remain closed on Thursday, February 29th due to the winter weather. Stay warm, stay safe, and we’ll be ready to care for you as soon as conditions improve.
☃️Our clinics may be snowed out, but our ER refuses to let it go. Open 24/7!

Sherman ISD schools and offices will remain closed Thursday, January 29 due to continued poor road conditions. Classes and extracurricular activities are canceled.

While some road conditions have improved, many others remain icy and difficult to navigate. The district will continue to monitor conditions and provide updates if additional adjustments need to be made to our normal school schedule.

Due to continued inclement weather and following Sherman ISD closures, the following outpatient services and clinics will be closed again tomorrow.

If you are a scheduled patient, our team will begin making phone calls to reschedule appointments as soon as they are able to safely make it into the offices. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

🚑 Reminder: Our Emergency Room is open 24/7 for anything care you need — including any sledding injuries from Hospital Hill 😅❄️

As winter weather moves into our area, your health and safety remain our top priority. Please take a few simple steps to stay safe during cold temperatures and winter conditions:

🧣 Dress warmly and wear layers when outdoors
🏠 Stay indoors during extreme cold when possible
🔥 Use space heaters safely and never leave them unattended
🚗 Avoid unnecessary travel and keep an emergency kit in your vehicle
💙 Check on elderly family members, neighbors, and anyone with medical needs
