My Japanese study of the day from Asakusa, Tokyo, Japan.
Broken, But Made More Beautiful.
In Japan, there is a beautiful art called Kintsugi—the practice of repairing broken pottery with gold.
Instead of hiding the cracks, they highlight them.
Because the break is part of the story… not something to erase.
Rooted in the philosophy of wabi-sabi, kintsugi reminds us:
✨ You are not broken
✨ Your scars hold meaning
✨ Healing can make you more beautiful than before
What if the hardest parts of your life are actually your gold? What do you think?
