MoonShine Wellness Wellness coach supporting burned out and overwhelmed nurses

Burnout isn't and shouldn't be the norm for nurses.

I worked as a nurse for over 20 years and can help you work through burn out and come out on the other side.

What the nervous system needs before sleep can improve.

Many healthcare professionals try to fix sleep by changing routines, supplements, or sleep schedules.

But if the nervous system is still in high alert mode, real rest can be hard to access.
Before sleep improves, the body needs signals of safety.

A slower breath.
A moment to unwind from the shift.
Space for the nervous system to move out of constant stress response.

In the Sleep Better webinar, we talk about why sleep struggles are so common in healthcare and what actually helps the body begin to settle again.

Because better sleep often starts with a calmer nervous system.

Burnout is not a motivation problem.

Most healthcare professionals are not lacking dedication. In fact, many are deeply committed to their patients, their teams, and the work they do.

Burnout happens when people care deeply but are working within systems that demand more than the human body and nervous system can sustainably carry.

Long hours.
Emotional intensity.
Constant responsibility.

Supporting healthcare teams is not about pushing people to try harder. It is about creating environments where people can do meaningful work without sacrificing their wellbeing.

When leaders understand burnout through this lens, real culture change becomes possible.

Recovery often begins with two simple words.

Me too.

Burnout can feel incredibly isolating. Many healthcare professionals believe they are the only one struggling, the only one feeling exhausted, numb, or overwhelmed.

But when someone else shares their experience and you realize you are not alone, something shifts.

Shame softens.
Understanding grows.
And healing starts to feel possible.

This is why community matters. When caregivers support each other, recovery becomes easier to navigate.

I chose to focus my work on caring for caregivers for one simple reason.

I am one of them.

After more than two decades in healthcare, I understand the pressure, responsibility, and emotional weight that many nurses and healthcare professionals carry every day.

Burnout is not a personal weakness. It is a response to prolonged stress in a system that asks a lot from people who care deeply.

My work is about creating spaces where healthcare professionals can learn, recover, and support each other.

Because the people caring for everyone else deserve support too.

What to expect from a burnout recovery workshop.

Not a lecture.

Not a list of things you should be doing better.

These workshops are designed for healthcare professionals who are already carrying a lot.

Inside the space you can expect:
• Honest conversations about what burnout actually looks like
• Simple nervous system tools you can use in real life
• A supportive environment where people understand the realities of healthcare

The goal is not to fix anyone.

It is to help people feel seen, supported, and leave with tools that actually help.
